Since FT also can't accept PP any more for vape purchases, I bought a couple good-sized gift certificates using PP very early this morning. They're giving everyone an extra 5% for whatever amount of GC you buy, until Oct. 29th. They're also good for 5 years and each time you make a purchase...the balance remaining just carries over. They're also having a Halloween Sale Oct. 31st-Nov. 1st....10% off sitewide.

Maybe others are doing the same thing...because FT was very busy. It took much longer than normal to buy them. Kept getting little messages about trying again because of heavy site traffic. Figured it may not take long for PP to realize people are buying them to still get vape gear from FT now and for the future. Didn't want to risk PP possibly restricting purchases of FT GC, even though I'm definitely overstocked on vape "stuff". Still, thought it couldn't hurt to have them if/when forgotten replacement glass, or tank specific screws or other replacement parts, different ohms of pre-wound coils, etc. might be wanted or needed.

Did anyone ever make the Gingerbread ICe Cream Sammich?
I did and although it is good the same thing happened to me that used to happen. I find it dry. Any hints for ways to counteract this?

I never noticed it being dry sorry. I used to love that recipe, but when I started making large batches of it, (120 ML) by the time I got half way through it, the flavor changed. When I mix I like to do fairly large batch's, but they have to be a stable recipe, that doesn't change into something else. 30 ML or so should be fine though, someone said cactus adds moisture, but I have never used it. :|

    Somewhere between here and there
I picked up my Jeep from the shop. The water pump bearing was going out so they replaced it. I get off at 4:30 but it wasn’t ready until 5:00 so I had a coworker drop me off and I waited for it.

At least you didn’t have to wait to long.

I add a drop or two of cactus (not much more or it'll give it a funky taste) or fresh cream to 50ml
supposedly marshmallow or em at .5% or lower can help also

So anyway I mixed my 5th? and last try at my Grape Love recipe. Also mixed Raspberry Pudding Biscuit.
What raspberry flavorings do you like the most to use as a main flavor @FranC ? Only one I have tried in 2 years is Purilum Raspberry.

PUR Raspberry is the only PUR I’ve bought in the last couple years but it will be replaced with INW when gone. I used 3 raspberries in today’s mix, INW, FW and PUR.

Ac/Dc has new music out. It sounds like every other song of theirs.

Well, that's better than U2s last album. Like seriously, they could not GIVE it away. I mean, I am forced to love Everything U2 does Even When Bono is Being a Gigantic TOOL but I had to work real hard to like, enjoy ONE tune.

Some bands need to age out gracefully, some turn into this legacy thing it is weird.

I got a Vietnam Vet to love this song today AND consider the spirituality in it. He made me write it down and all that. That's why I love new music even though it is TERRIBLE.

I will mention the video is like, weird as all get out and contains ONE curse countered with a TON of spirituality that makes you think. BE warned no kids or work

Also, I am HERE TO SAY IT. Not only does Maroon Five work better as a pop band than heavy metal, even MAROON five thinks so. For the best stalker song since Sting "Every breath you take" take a look at like, "Animals" and you will see what I mean.

I like my lead singers with a sly sense of humor (except Bono who.... I am trying to find a funny quote and coming up short I keep hearing like BOMBS and WE NEED TO god I am so not on a mission today. LOL.
This band fun crosses some genres and well, they were awful to start with so they were not one of them producer assembled bands.

We prequalified. YAY. My freaking mail order pharmacy sent me ALL meds almost except the ONE I NEED RIGHT NOW. OH well.

    1) I was a teenager.

    2) Brian Eno made that band. Unforgettable Fire is an unappreciated gem, and it is due to his mixing intervention. Then Joshua Tree he made Bono get singing lessons and that was the apex. He still can't sing at all. But, he does it more gracefully, sorta.

3)The thing I like about U2 is actually these are four Catholic dudes who grew up together and like, they genuinely gel well together. Bono was NOT the best singer for that band, but he could not learn the guitar and if you ever listen to the Edge's solo stuff, well, you kinda wonder how he COPED with Bono, because he is such a poor lyricist. Really if you ever want to see something funny watch Bono "play the guitar" (he learned) and try to sing at the same time (he cannot walk and chew gum at the same time and I still think he knows like five chords.

BUT the great Johnny Cash himself was like, not the WORLD'S greatest musician of all time either.

So you'd think the Edge would be all fuming but no, he was like, "Fine I will play guitar and back Bono up on the high notes because NO he can't sing but if he tried to play the guitar, well, we would have NO band ever."

There is really a beauty to some of the songwriting and mixing. I mean "Where the streets have no name.... that intro goes on forever, it is the SAME DANG CHORD deconstructed, over and over again, but it builds and it is beautiful and it takes you someplace.

IDK. Why do we like what we like? PERSONAL TASTE.

I am in love with My Chemical Romance BUT ONLY THE BLACK PARADE ALBUM.

It's basically about the lead singer watching his abusive veteran dad die of cancer and I swear, his dad came down and blessed that album with his regret, because it is not only beautiful in single mode, it is ROCK OPERA (not no longer so popular but they exist) about his dad. It's truly one of my favorite albums of this decade.

IDK I think often we don't go outside our comfort zones and listen to something truly foreign.

I feel that way about Nirvana. When Kurt Cobain died, like, I cried.... because I hated their damn music SO MUCH and now it was gonna be like Christmas music, there would be no more NEW crap, only OLD crap, played SO OFTEN and in mourning and like, I was like "There will be Nirvana Elevator music" which is why we should force (or let our kids force us) into new genres. The kid was all rappy so I never let him know when he went all moody into his room I LIKED It. LOL.

It's going through a rough patch lately. Seems like everything is but yeah the stuff he sends has been SUCKING.

It is entirely subjective. You just know when a song is singing for you/to you, etc. SO be judciious. I will often wander the house singing "So happy together" and like my husband wanted to know why I knew it so well. Ahem, that was the EXIT song into a marriage where I KNEW before hand I should probably not do it, so it became kind of "not happy" but I still love it. So instead of answering, I just said, "You ,know we will both be happier if I do not tell you. Bless my husband's hear he was like, "Okay, works for me."

LOL I would have been "Deep dark therapy secret TELL ME NOW! I get gestapo-like in those moments, I mean not in therapy everyone has a right to privacy you know!! JUST NOT MY HUSBAND HE IS SPESUHUL or I AM or WHATEVER.

Go big or stay home... or is that Go big or come home... or maybe it's size matters? I can't remember but I buy the 4oz bottles if I really like a flavor a lot.
    That's a BIG bottle.
I'd love to know what flavors folks like enough to order that big a bottle. That would be useful feedback.

I never go anywhere (I likely will not leave my house again till it's time for my next teeth cleaning in six months) and see virtually nobody, and there have been only twenty cases of Covid-19 in my county since the start of this mess, so I don't really need to bother with these precautions for myself. I am glad, though, that they are available to make life a bit safer for those at more risk than I.
    Oh wow!
I don't understand how you can go 6m without leaving your house, and see virtually nobody.
Unless you're a zen Buddhist monk, I don't see how you can manage that sanely.

I’ve never liked U2. I just didn’t get them. Just like everyone thinks Tool is fantastic, I can’t stomach many of their songs.
I like the band (the music) but one day a young friend told my wife and I "I hate U2" and we said " why do you hate us?" She said "No, I hate Bono... We thought she meant us LOL My son likes Tool (a bit too much for me... and I'm very open minded to alternative music) Actually, I do like the song Aenima I'm in CA and it would be fine with me if LA fell into the sea ;)
