I’m a creature of habit too. I don’t use the flavor much but when I do it’s TFA.I’m just more familiar with the tfa since I’ve used it more.

Not a flavor, it's a recipeNo, I was not even aware that there was a banana foster flavoring.
Yes indeed. I'm Italian American, born here of Italian parents. When I was 10, my father and stepmother took me to the "old country" for a few months. It was life changing for me. But, getting back to mushrooms. My stepmother's family was in Parma, in the country. They went mushroom hunting in the woods regularly. In those few months they taught me how to distinguish between the goodies and the baddies. Most of the goodies were Porcini, which they dried in their yard in the sun on large pieces of plywood. But, there were several other rarer varieties which they loved and grilled or fried. It was, for a kid like me, a real treasure hunt. And now a cherished memory.I was really into that years ago (not just cultivation but picking wild mushrooms and mycology in general... yes, self taught but basically college level) Some are easy to grow, some are tricky (kinda like RTAs) the more common ones you can just buy kits (it's very much like homebrew beer and DIY juices) They can be very delicious. I lived in the mountains (at 5000 ft) and we got wild Morels... so good (best mushrooms I have ever tasted)
I had so much fun with friends... picking mushrooms from lawns, parks, ect and watching the reaction from other people... "Oh my god, you are going to die" ect (believe me, I was a freakin expert... shape, habitat, look-alikes, slice open and study stem, gills, everything... even spore prints!) Don't get me wrong... if you don't know what you are doing, they can be very dangerous.
Did I mention the wild Morels taste so good! I miss them... they don't gown down here in the city.
PM me if you are interested in growing mushrooms![]()
That is a kit for $50. Now that I think about it.... it could be a water fountain for when one gets thirsty in the middle of the night.
LOL.First off. they were two different questions (1. what is the difference between a Ice cream flavor and just combining your own cream, vanilla and sweetener... seems like a fair question, 2. which ones do people recommend) I had decided on (CAP) VBIC but several people here seem to like TFA so reconsidering that. Will you ever get ober my "Best Flavors" post? BTW, Nowhere in my posts did I suggest a specific flavor to others... fair enough?
Well you started with one and ended with two. Hopefully you can end up with one of them.I shall skim-- holy crud you lot-- but first I must POST. I am exhausted, enervated but good things DID happen. Sorta.
So we saw the cabin and the bad news on it was it was a HUD home, (in WV I think that means bank owned) so you have to see it as is. My first home was a HUD home (but it was so bad I bought it on a builder's loan and my credit was way better then--we went to conventional mortgage. We are like THIRTY darn points from that.)
Anyway yeah it's on 3 acres and it LOOKS okay mainly but there is not much else. Loved the teeny tiny town, loved the house which was a bit distressed in places but like.... Okay. Bit worried about drainage in the back of the house. There are like 3 acres of "wood and thicket" which actually kinda suck as they block out the sun. It is small. I (I think I amused real estate lady) got under the (about 36 inch crawlspace) going "Hand me your flashlight... I wanna see under there.... Oh, heck, it's like WAY to cold for snakes and went on an investigatory mission. It looked okay and there was a vapor barrier on the ground at least but no insulation to speak of (anywhere, really) I think it was someone's getaway cabin. POSSIBLE termite activity which is, not so good but IDK if the husband was correct. Maybe. SUPER cute. Too small for our stuff without sheds.
Anyway so after amusing the real estate lady she indicated she would investigate how a HUD home and an FHA loan go together but I do not think that they DO. I also think it might be hell on earth to well, try it. I mean I remember getting ALL the utilities turned on for 48 hours so the home inspector could even APPRAISE it/render it habitable. IDK dumb stuff.
Had it not been a HUD home perhaps more enthusiasm but it has issues and I think would be murderously complicated to buy.
I will not forget like, the look on the real estate chick's face when I was like, "Flashlight! Going in! LOL." She was like, "Oh don't forget to close it" as I exited I was like, "No I would like the husband to go in too." Another big issue almost no direct sunlight.
I also found a for sale by owner house I liked a lot more in Salem (husbando did too once we actually FOUND it) talked to the lady so like tomorrow 4:30. I HATE looking for houses it's annoying and way to adrenaline fueled for me. This one is nice but like.... The photos are bad. That is kind of good though you know what you are getting. We'll see.
Sigh.

That is good news. Hope it works out.Oh I forgot I found a DOCTOR who called me back on a SATURDAY. He said some magical words about like, Valium when I explained the occurrence of "By accident I fixed my lithium tremor by using Valium when I threw out my back blah blah" long complicated story. I was like, "My INSURANCE company has no problem with it but since eprescribing my doc sure seems to, IDK I mean I could lower it but I am the primary breadwinner and can only go so fast."
He said, "I have managed lithium a lot and if something is clinically indicated and works for you, you may not have to reduce it at ALL." So I scheduled for Tuesday. Back on the Ambien bye byet train for now. Sigh. But it will be fine. I guess. At some point. He was pretty cool. The husband was DRIVING with the window open. I said at one point, pointedly. "I'm so sorry I can't hear you my husband is driving with the windows down." He was like, "I'm so sorry...gosh." I was like, "Um there is no need for YOU to apologize." The husband pulled over then....

Naturally-Extracted-Tobaccos.com made (or makes?) a carrot cake NET which was terrific last time I tried it.I have six days off work starting now
I've been working at the same place 15 years (it's a love / hate relationship), and one of my favorite things in life is to not be there haha.
I'll have to put together a big mixing session in a couple days, but have no idea what I want to make. Will probably start going through older flavors I don't use much and see what I can put together. May have some carrot cake in my future.
Hope everything goes well.I think I'm going to be buying a house soon as well. First time for me, going to do a 20% down mortgage. It's the house we have been living in for the last 3-4 years. Renting. Great neighborhood, close to work, don't want to move again haha.
I'm pretty nervous about it.
please do post them. I've liked all the recipes of yours which I've tried this far!I think I’ll be ok vaping coffee again which will make me happy but I’ll have to go easy. I was upset when I burnt out on coffee and I trashed most of my recipes. Wish I didn’t do that now cause I had some good ones IMO. I do have a couple left that a friend kept in google docs. That will give me something to mix.
I likes Stixx. And Stixx has a bunch of recipes on their website, assuming your honey doesn't want them straight.I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get some StixxMixx tobaccos for my wife. I do not care for tobaccos myself at all, which makes it tricky when making them for her. She likes what I make a lot, but I have no idea what they actually taste like.
For quite a while I have been thinking of trying NETs for her. She was a dual user for a good four years and just late last year finally gave up buying cigs. Thanks largely to being satisfied with a couple tobacco mixes I made, so she says.
I ordered 3 15ml bottles to try. I coached her a little but she picked them. Went with Butter Rum Cavendish, Oriental 456, and H Primed.I likes Stixx. And Stixx has a bunch of recipes on their website, assuming your honey doesn't want them straight.
I've been really enjoying Soho. It reminds me of Halo Tribeca but nicer, depending on how you mix it.I really like SoHo (haven't tried the others)
very scary!I bet Anna's new house doesn't have one of these:

Yes!! That's very close to what I've mixed and it's very good.Try this:
Meringue FA 3%
Soho 10%
It's on ELR as OhoSsOhO. The creator says a 7 day steep is needed, but I didn't like it till the 3 week mark.
