I'm ashamed to admit, but I haven't had a Christmas tree in years.
LOL. There may be things in your life to be "ashamed" of but that shouldn't be one of them.
My wife is big on sentimental stuff, especially Christmas.
But, we were out of town or out of the country for at least three Christmases. It was just fine without a tree. In fact, it was just great without one. No pruning it before decorating, no cleaning the floor during and after. No carrying it up the stairs...
I do like Christmas. But...

So pretty much the same as the stuffing I make, except for the bread. Huh. Can't see where you've gone wrong, since you use plenty of butter. Is the fault with the cornbread?

I don’t think so. I always have a bite of it before I put it in with the other dressing stuff and it has always tasted fine.

I use Paula Dean's recipe for cornbread dressing... A pan of cornbread, 7 slices of bread heavily browned in the oven (which dries it out), and a sleeve of saltine crackers. Stick of butter, and various spices and chicken stock.

The hard part is the giblet gravy. I want it like mom use to make.... mine is good, but nothing compared to hers.

Thanks Skeebo! I love Paula Deen’s recipes!

I’m not a big lemon vaper but I did have the Flapper Pie. I know some folks like it but I piffed mine because it was just too sweet.
It's funny isn't it, how we all taste the same thing so differently.
I, as well, am not big on lemon. But, I do like sweet.
The Flapper Pie didn't taste like much of anything as an SFT at 6%. Maybe too high a % or maybe too low, but for me not at all sweet. But, I also don't have forever to keep tweeking things. If a reasonable SFT % doesn't taste ok, it's out the window.

I am going to mix a Deadly Sin clone recipe tomorrow and I need the input on a flavoring substitution, please. The recipe calls for FW Butterscotch but I don’t have it. Please suggest which of the following butterscotches you think would be best;

FW Butterscotch Ripple
FW Natural Butterscotch
FA Butterscotch
WF Butterscotch Cream Pie

Some questions for you brilliant mixers
I made N Evans Lemon Meringue Pie. As someone who always chased Dinner Ladies, I heard it was close.
Can someone please tell me what role the Flapper Pie plays in this?
I like this version of N Evans but feel it is lacking the crust, the thing I love about DL.
Please, anyone, give me your thoughts on what Flapper Pie contributes?
It is a very mild custard and meringue. Has no crust that I perceive. It's nice but not heavy (which I like sometimes)

I’m probably not going to order any flavors. I need to go through my cases again and see what I want to piff.It is still my goal to pare down to around 200 flavors. That is actually too many but this 500-600 is just ridiculous I think.
You mentioned you didn't care for FLV Mango... hint hint.

I’ve never vaped Deadly Sin so IDK.

I have FW Butterscotch Ripple, FW Natural Butterscotch and FW Butterscotch. Also have FA B-scotch.

From what you have I would go with FW Natural Butterscotch. It’s similar to a hard butterscotch candy IMO.

FW Butterscotch is really good and closest to the hard candy IMO. FW Butterscotch has acetoin in it. FW Natural Butterscotch does not.
