The only thing I didn’t do on my to-do list yesterday was wrap gifts so I’ll probably do that. And for sure watch the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn...biggest rivalry around. I can’t wait! I need to strip the beds and wash sheets too. Oops I didn’t look for recipes either yesterday so maybe I’ll do that too.

Morning mixed up mixers. All quiet on the (PN)Western front. Rain said to be tapering off, enough snow in the mountains that several of the ski areas are getting ready to open. Limited capacity, reservation only, so I suspect there will be a lot of unhappy wanna ski-ers. Yeah, first world problems. Me, well, haven't been on skis in 40+ years, so not an issue. Yeah, strap boards on your feet and slide downhill at 60 into a tree. Nope, not anymore!

My Kroma-Z contest win is taking the scenic route it seems, courtesy of the USPS. The label was created 11/23 in Pflugerville, TX. Package was accepted and went to Austin on the 24th. Left there and took 3 days to make it to Detroit! :?: Left Detroit this morning on its way to somewhere else. Hopefully it's at least headed in my direction now. ;)

I need advice. I’m looking to get my son a set of tools. Is this one ok? I like that it has a tool box and tons of tools. He’s young too so it doesn’t need to be the highest of quality. It’s expensive but you get a LOT of tools WITH the box. Opinions? I know nothing of this brand.

My husband was a self-employed mechanic and body man. I've never heard of that brand of tool but if they are actually somewhat decent then that price is cheap.

I'm sure you can find something decent for a young guy at HD.
I’ve always wanted a small tool box like that one. But this is his not mine...

I’m really liking the price and reviews on this one. It has the same tools too. I like this one! I’ve never heard of this brand either but I’m not a tool aficionado.

Not familiar with that brand, but since oos that's moot.

Either of these work for you? The Husky brand is decent.

Husky Mechanics Tool Set (270-Piece)-H270MTS - The Home Depot

Husky Mechanics Tool Set (290-Piece)-H290MTS - The Home Depot

Although both would also need at least a set of screwdrivers...

If you have a handy Lowes, they carry Craftsman and their Kobalt line, also good options. Similar price ranges.
