I was able to get in touch with the top engineer at the factory today and got everything figured out so that is a huge load off of me. Turned out that one of my problems was that windows 10 won't let me hot sync my palm pilot that I need for changing the software in the machine I was working on. So the engineer taught me a work around for it and I have the pain in the .... machine finished besides putting the covers back on.

I haven't gotten around to trying the crumble topping yet but definitely would pick one of your favorite fruits to pair with it. I know you don't really want to do sft but I'd almost recommend it for the crispy wafer. I recently did a bunch of two flavor tests and even afterwards felt like I didn't have a good feel for the new flavor.

The raspberry syrup isn't supposed to be very sweet and not really a syrup either. It's still on my list of flavors that I need to try either in a sft or mix.

I would probably go with the FA fresh cream or vanilla swirl. I think I'm going to do my test with it solo when I get around to it.

I so wish I was closer. I definitely would have bought some tools from you.
Hubs had a garage full of tools and body supplies. One guy from VT bought a big chunk of that including one whole toolbox set up (Mac Tools). I’ve been making smaller sales since but supply is getting low.

    Morning all,

@hittman I used to trade knives with a Case Knife group. Someone would send me a sweet Case knife and I'd send them a knife I made. Didn't take long where everyone wanted to be paired with me!

I'm having major trouble sleeping and I think it's the Ozempic shot I started Sunday. Hopefully it gets better.

I’m considering a flavor order next sale....maybe. Do I need flavors? Heck no, I’m going to be piffing another bunch soon. I guess sometimes it’s just fun to try some new stuff.
What makes you decide which flavors to "PIF"? Just ones you don't use often, or ones you get tired of?

I ended up doing a SFT on WF Cobbler, Crispy Wafer, and FLV Wild Melon. I also mixed up 1.5% of Raspberry Syrup with .75% Fresh Cream, and mixed up Flapper Pie at 3% with some strawberry flavorings.
    Sounds good.

These days I very my flavors good enough to not get tired of them. I have flavors I just don’t use unless I put an effort out to use them. Little by little I’m sending them away. I seem to have a problem with giving away a lot of flavors at one time. LOL As I’ve said before no more than 200 flavors is my goal and that could be too many. When you’ve been mixing so long you settle into using you favs and find other good ones here and there as you go. I was just looking on BCF and meh.

That's a good one. I watched Unforgiven the other day. It was on TV when I was flipping channels. I forgot how good a film that was.
This is one of my favorites.

For the second year in a row, everyone is getting handcrafted Christmas presents. Last year, it was paint by number paintings. I brought all the paintings I had done, and everyone chose one to be framed. This year I'm giving everyone a diamond art painting framed ring a hanging frame. I don't know about next year's craft. Anybody got any ideas?
I don’t have any ideas for you to try, just a story to share about last Christmas. I decided that I would do something personal for my family. When I’m not in too much pain, I enjoy doing wood working. I have a lathe and really like taking pieces of wood and turning them into smaller pieces and sawdust. I f bought some wood blanks from Holy Land Olivewood. Using the Olivewood blanks I made ink pens for my family. While making the pens I prayed for the family member and their family. I don’t know if the pens brought them any peace but it was a very moving experience for me. This year my body has not agreed with me so it is Amazon gift cards for all.

I’m going to show my ignorance now, what is SFT?

Makes sense to want to consolidate. I started to think that 200 or so was a lot and I would never get to that point. I am now looking at my stash on ELR and I somehow already have gotten to 76 flavors. It appears that it is pretty easy to get a lot of flavors and not even realize it.

Yes, it's easy and as you go up you'll find yourself using your favorite flavors most and getting much less use on the others. I have a friend in SC whos been having a rough time of it since she retired. She gets all my Piffed flavors . I did send hittman a flavor once but that was an exception.:)

It's good that you have someone who can get good use out of them. It's much better than just throwing them away.
