Well, at least we don't have to shovel the rain :) Although with what we've been getting the last few and next few days, predicted flooding in the usual places, so pumps might be in order. (No issues with that here. We did NOT buy land in a flood plain!)

While temps are warm for this time of year, still in the mid 40s, at least the freezing level is still low enough to have it still be snow up high where it's needed.

Good morning DIY Folks :D

My plan for the day... I'm watching the FDA hearing for the mRNA-1275 Moderna vaccine on CSPAN3. Tons of info is being presented. Very thorough job by the Moderna folks (doctors and scientists).

I've posted some info in the general COVID-19 thread here: Coronavirus- COVID 19

It's in the outside BUT that thread is very cordial (gentle + nice) and there is info posted from many. There is also a COVID-19 Science thread that has a ton of info and links on the vaccines (also cordial, Tibs, Retired and Classy make sure of that).

Like the Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA vaccine everyone expects Moderna's to be approved for EUA by the FDA on Friday.

Other plans, not sure yet. The FDA vaccine hearings have been all day affairs.

It'll be nice once the majority get one of the vaccines and life as we knew it returns as it was pre C-19. We should be there sometime during 2021. :)

    Somewhere between here and there
My gd is renting my house which is about 20 miles north of here. She just went out and measured the snow at 17 inches. I don’t know what we have here but it’s a lot and still coming down.

Time to grab a blanket and a good book or movie. No sense going out in 17" of snow.

I’ll always be amazed at how I can lose something just sitting here.
Soooo, I'm not the only one that that happens to! :D

17 inches, yikes!!! We've only seen flurries and two dustings so far. Normally we would have had at least one or two snowfalls of a couple inches or so. When I was a kid during the 60's we had several inches of non melting snow by now. Some years heavy blizzards.

One of my sissies just sent me a picture from Lebanon, up your way. They have a lot of snow.

This is our first real snowstorm and it’s a whooper. Still coming down.

We have a fair amount here, but one of the nice things about living on top of a very windy hill is it blows the snow off, so I can’t tell how much exactly.

I will want to go and dig out the car before it sets up, though. Otherwise, it becomes an epic project.

If I didn’t get up to look out the window to the backyard I wouldn’t have found my recipe. Please don’t ask me to explain that.
I’m liking my sassy recipe. @Zazie

    Sassy Iced Berries
    TFA Acai 1%
    WF Saskatoon Berries 2%
    TFA Graham Clear 2.5%
    TFA VBIC 4%
    FW Yogurt 6%
    FA Fresh Cream .5%

It’s more ingredients than I usually use but it works for me.
