Plans were today to book a flight to Texas, and rent a van to bring back personal effects from condo we just sold. Mission accomplished.
Just started re-learning html, I'm finding it incredibly easy so far, but I had a lot of practice at it designing and building my own websites back in the day as a wee lad.
Welcome to Texas...if only briefly.![]()
What made you decide on Michigan?
I'll be a one man wrecking crew, on a solo mission.. but I've allotted at least 3 days of goofing off and relaxation.
I'm going to miss having a place down there on north Padre island for the winter(snowbirds), but we can always visit I suppose. I thought I was moving to Texas from Minnesota permanently back in 2013/2014.. and then unbeknownst to us, we would be moving to Michigan. Texas was and is pretty awesome, in my experience.
Except for all the Texans that live there.

So are you liking it so far?Gonna try more Chuck.
I was unemployed with no prospects at the time, and got offered the job I have currently in MI. Otherwise, no offense to Michiganders, I would have never even thought of moving to Michigan.. let alone visiting this area. But I've come to love it here, mostly. What made you decide on Michigan?

So...what's everyone going to do with extras from their stash, and/or things they think they won't ever use...that you want to sell? 1) Put them on the Classies and ship them before the shipping ban for vaping things takes effect? Or 2) Wait until afterwards and take your chances with the USPS (which means not being honest) when the clerk rattles off that question of "anything liquid, fragile, hazardous, or perishable, perfume, lithium batteries, or vaping items in the package?" Or 3) Just hang on to everything in your stash to maybe help local friends out later?
ETA: Thinking about it further just now....there's nothing in the Bill that specifically mentions the shipment of vaping items via USPS if you're not a business/vendor. I wonder if that's a viable loophole for the everyday person to ship them to friends, relatives, or other people that one knows are definitely "of legal age"?
Afterall...the Bill's supposed purpose, was to prevent underage people from ordering/receiving vaping items via online shopping, which means from a business or vendor.![]()
Nice you can mail stuff from work.If I want to send someone vape stuff then I still will. I print all my own shipping labels through PayPal whether there was a transaction or not. A lot of people don’t know you can do that. I tape the label to the package and give it to the mailman at work no questions asked.
Would be a good idea.Good evening? So is it for real No shipping from any vendor with this new bill? I thought it was only usps? I suppose I need to buy some more coils/gear this month.
I believe it's both USPS and Fed-Ex.Good evening? So is it for real No shipping from any vendor with this new bill? I thought it was only usps? I suppose I need to buy some more coils/gear this month.
