This weekend is "late Christmas(s)" Saturday is my nephew's family, Sunday is my Son and family. All the kids have been waiting (we have presents for them) because of our COVID situation. Non of us got sick... it's been weeks so we feel all is OK for company. Been baking all day (pecan pie, brownies w/nuts and orange cranberry muffins) We are really looking forward to having house guests again (mom is very happy)

Mine was supposedly mailed on the 6th too and I haven't gotten it. My mother's was mailed on the 6th and last I talked with her, she hadn't gotten hers. I think they put the 6th down on everybody's and are taking their time, as usual.

Good morning. We're getting the same thing as Redbird as far as weather. I wish I could have stayed in this morning. Visibility was poor but most of the roads weren't bad though. It's supposed to snow for a long time though so they could be bad by the time I get off work.
I think you folks are supposed to be getting a bit more snow than my area, but the winds will be pretty equally bad.
A few days ago the forecast was for less than an inch and then last night they said 1-3. It really wasn't sticking on major roads yet but was on side streets. It's going to be hovering around the freezing point all day so it's a crap shoot as to what the drive home will be like. I know for sure that it's going to be heavier traffic than it was this morning since I left early expecting delays.
Heatwave of 40 if we get that high. No wind, no snow, just another gloomy day. Tomorrow it’s supposed to ......rain. There is almost no snow here and it’s just not normal.
It just dawned on me, while checking new emails in my Inbox...that it'll be a whole lot emptier once the USPS law takes effect. I'll have unsubscribed from my usual vendors' newsletters...except the 6-7 I normally buy batteries, flavorings, and PG & VG from. Even if the others will still have physical stores open...none of them are located anywhere near me, and I'm very well stocked anyway.
