I just couldn't get very good flavor from it. I tried several different coils and even bought some superfine clapton wire just to try in it and it was mediocre at best.
That's a good start I think. I don't think the white coffee is very strong. I'm going to try it at 7% when I have another go at it.

I just had some fun. I had 2 broken Provaris. On the first one the battery contact on the board broke off, on the other the button stopped working. I'm waiting for a replacement button. Decided to try taking the working button off the first one and putting it in the second one.
Took the tops off both of them. There isn't a spring under the button, just a rubber boot that provides the outward force. On the non-working button that rubber boot had broken in half. I replaced it with the boot from the good button and now I have my purple Mini working again. Apart from the tiny size of the parts it was surprisingly easy.
I don't think I would have been able to replace the actual switch. As far as I could tell it's held in place by solder and the solder points would be very hard to get to and just a couple of mm from other components. Way beyond my skills.

That one I PIFed. People who like it, love it. It was too fiddly for me. And it leaked. That’s one thing I don’t do. Guy I gave it to said it worked just like his other ones.
I have it full open and it suits me fine. I use my Prime and Berserker full open and use them as my go-tos.

When I won mine was also when I decided to start using flavors again. I have 3 in rotation and 2 are in the stash drawer and I'm waiting on a couple that I have on order.
I destroyed a berserker rta trying to drill it out enough lol. I’m at the edge between mtl and dl, so I end up being hard to please. Oddly, the beserker rdta and I get along fine.
Yeah. I chose the 24mm LE in flint. I think it works fine. I like the whole kit that comes with it and the top fill set up is kind of nifty.
Speaking for the minority here: The last time I watched a football game I was on the clock, covering a local game 45-years ago. It really pisses me off that I am forced to pay Comcast $90 per year for regional sports coverage when I'm more interested in basket weaving.

In all fairness, I had just finished reviews on the Freemax Maxus 100 and 200 when I got the Ares. The flavor from the tanks that came with those was phenomenal.

Dad has an appointment to get his first vaccine next week since he was a patient where he was taken for his heart attack. Mom, still nothing. It’s ridiculous! Then I read they are opening it up for the 65+ group and there are 75+ folks that still don’t have a vaccine. Maybe next week we can get her an appointment.
My son is in a wedding this weekend and I’m tired of spending money for that and him getting fitted this week and running here and there. He’s at rehearsal tonight so I finally have peace and quiet. He’s worse than a girl about his hair and beard. And I get to hear all about it.
I’m a little ill I guess. I think I’ll go take a shower.
