I copy and pasted it to Google word doc. It automatically gave me a menu tab on the side so I could scroll through the names of the recipes to choose which one I wanted to pull up.
C/p the list or the download? Yes, I’m that computer illiterate . I’m afraid I’ve just let himself handle it all these years because that’s what his degree was in.

    Somewhere between here and there
Working with my nonexistent computer knowledge... on the iPad (no idea if that makes a difference)... I downloaded as an XML (third option under export), then saved to my kindle app. I saved it to excel first, but it’s hard to read. I wish it carried ml over as well as %

Ok, so I chose it as xml and it looked great until I saved it and tried to open it back up. I'm usually pretty good figuring stuff like this out but not this time. I did open it the second time with word and it's legible but doesn't look like it did when it opened in the web browser.

Quick random question here; does any one have any insights into what the longevity of ELR will be? I suppose it might be time to start taking screenshots and writing down recipes sooner than later.

    @Letitia ?
    Thanks.
I have worried about this before so I have printed 15-20 of my favs just in case. I have also made WORD docs (if you hit the wrench and bring down the menu you would use to edit or adapt, you will see "Copy Simple Text") use that and WORD and make a folder for your computer

After I exported XML I copied that (there was a lot) and simply pasted to Google Doc. Once I did that I saved it to my computer, and then emailed it to myself pdf style and created a folder for it there.

Don't worry, I'm computer illiterate myself. I'm sitting over here feeling all empowered now.. it's incredible. I wonder if this is how Patsy Cline felt.

Does anyone know if there is an easier way to get all of their recipes off of ELR besides copy and paste each one? I was able to download my flavor stash as a csv file and then saved it as an excel document but don't see a way to do that with recipes. Otherwise it's going to take me forever to copy and paste all those pages of recipes. I should have just printed each one when I entered it. Not all of them need to be saved but there are a lot. Some are just multiple tries at the same recipe so I could just save the last one.
I did the low tech way of copy and paste

The picture I posted is how it looks in kindle. The app is free if you don’t have it. I keep things like the FLV recipe book, Liam’s flavor notes etc in there that are too big to reasonably print. As long as it’s downloaded to your library, not just the cloud I think it’s there forever

@Koolkiz - There are no current coupon codes for Kanger Wholesale AKA Lightfire Distribution, and they don't have a new user coupon either. They rarely offer coupon codes...maybe at most 4-5 times a year.
Thank you! Just checking here because I know you and the other diy folks have had magical coupon codes for some vendors. :)

    Morning Vapers!

Well the grandkids are back home but stated that they are coming back Friday. OK with me! Sure is quiet around here when they leave.
I love the way you love spending time with your grandchildren. They are lucky to have you as a grandfather.

When I go to my page, it shows my recipe feed but when I click on the my recipes tab then the export button goes away. I don't see a way to export my recipes.
Wish I could help but I don't have any of my recipes on ELR. Sorry. I only use ELR to follow several mixers and for flavor research. And their forum.

I bet if you were to ask in the ELR forum someone there would know exactly how to do it. And I do seem to recall the Letitia did this already.

Mom got her first Moderna vaccine. Whew I feel better. I can’t wait until she gets her second one.

I went to the thrift store and picked up 6 tops, 2 jeans, and 1 purse. Everything fits! And I got my 10% senior discount over 55 years old... It was hopping in there with barely any parking spots. I spent only $32.
