    Somewhere between here and there
    Good evening, ladies and gentlemen,

We had a good walk in the spring weather, my hunting companion, me, and our hunting dog, the dachshund Øsa.
As usual, she was enthusiastic, forward marching. Distance for the day, 7km.

Then I made a setup for some attys, tired of the mess.
Otherwise it was new coils & wicks, should be ready for tomorrow...

Work for tomorrow is to make something for the bottles.

That looks nice. I could use something like that.

I know it's universally loved, but I'm trying to streamline. One is sitting in one of my many carts somewhere, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. It's a plastic pod--and love my Z coils in glass tanks. They just taste better to me.
I would agree... but I won this in a contest (here on ECF) To my surprise, I love it (even got a few extra pods) It would also be a great carry around device.

    That looks excellent!

    Thank you very much.

It took me a while to make it, did not have the best equipment to drill.
I could get a buddy to mill for me, but what I have is going to do the job.
Easy to put forward, easy to carry away.

Now I have to cut a new plank for the juice, a little drilling ...

I have a small farm, I am still considering finding items from the forest and making them again. Most likely oak in that case.

Love it. And so truly Scandinavian. I miss those landscapes--forests, water, rocks, strange light.

With you folks talking about your vape stash number, I thought I would take a look. I forgot that I made a list of my gear a couple of months back. Adding in what I have bought since, I have about 20-25 mods, 25-30 RTAs, 4 or 5 Zlides/Zeniths and about 30 boxes of coils. Not nearly as much as many of you folks, but I'm comfortable with that amount at the moment.

Especially since this time last year I had 2 or 3 mods, a couple of tanks, and no RTAs whatsoever.
Wow. I've been vaping for quite a while now and don't have anywhere near that amount (except for the coils.)
Would you satisfy my curiosity and tell me what those 20+ mods and 25+ RTAs are?

March 26th is my 9th vapeversary... what did I do to the government to make them suck the joy out of such an important date ????? :(
Ask Nancy Pelosi. The Democrats have the House, bills are by the Constitution originated in the House. It was a spending bill into which it was inserted although it had nothing to do with keeping the government funded. If the Senate and Trump had not signed it, then the government would have shut down. Not much choice for the Senate nor Trump, assuming they cared.

Thanks! My sentiments exactly. First the Ohm's Law, now frequencies, DC/AC, currents. ;)

Kroma Z it is. Do I need and extra pod? Probably.

And thank you all for your help and your patience with me. It's much appreciated.
To try and satisfy my curiosity and test Hitt’s patience in trying to explain it to me)...I switched it first to coil+, then just Power to compare. Power seems more like the sceptre than the new modes. I’m using a juice I’ve vaped for years so I can make a decision. I think I’ll leave it in power mode. F0 tastes stale or weak (can’t put my finger on it).

I’m fascinated that you have a marathon hiking dachshund. My daughter’s miniature doxie gets about half a block before she starts trying to get in the baby’s stroller .

That's the 1st proposal I've personally witnessed on ECF. :D

I know there was another one. Can't remember who, think it was in the HHV sub a long while back. Don't know if they ever got married but they did hook up. I remember the photos they shared. They did make a cute couple!
LOL. Hooking up might do instead.

Some years back my PCP and I had to retune my BP meds, had a similar reaction to Lisinopril. Yeah, diastolic gets too low, you die. Not good medicine! We (doc and I) got off that one in a hurry. Yep, we all react differently to meds, and the docs really ought to know that!
It does work very well (maybe too well) but even in small doses it is a very effective BP med. The day my doc prescribed it, I had rode my bike over a mile in temps over 100 F, couldn't find the office (first time there and the suite numbers were messed up) didn't want to be late and for once, they got me in fast (slow day). I had a temporary (accute) BP rise and doc over-reacted. Can't say I blame him but he drove to work in an air conditioned car and his job is not really physical. Would have been interesting to trade places... see how his BP was after the bike ride ;)

Thanks, but don't worry about it. The issue has been resolved. A trade has been agreed to.

I would have been willing to trade whatever I had. Glad you got it taken care of.

That looks great. I would love to attempt making something like that. However, I believe the end result would be losing a limb. Or at the very least, a couple of fingers.

    Hi all,

I have been vaping for 12 years but the DIY bug only really hit me recently.

One of the aspects of DIY that really interests me is the opportunity, however futile, to try and recreate juices of years gone by that, either were discontinued, or for whatever reason just don’t taste the same. The diketones scare of 2014-2015 changed the recipes used in bakery, custards and other sweet juices and as a result they lost that certain dimension and richness the affected juices had. Five Pawns as an example just don’t taste the same time after they changed their recipes following their own disrepute from having diacetyls in their juices. Castle Long is not the same juice it used to be.

two of my favorite juices were Heathers Heavenly Vapes Gandalf/Legend and Pirates Booty back around 2012-2014 before those flavors changed into more straight forward sweet NETs.

would anyone have any ideas or tips on how to recreate these juices?

I know these juices were NET tobacco’s but it wasn’t the tobacco that made them the wonderful complex concoctions that they were. It was the blending of Sweet confection-based flavorings that made them unique and very popular at the time. I sense that there’s some Ethan maltol in all HHV NETs even to the present day. It is pinning down the other flavors that I am struggling with. Based on some research I did the super concentrates from Vaping Zone and flavor express tobaccos at flavorjungle could be used to emulate the tobacco flavoring.
    Hi @AnthonyB
We've shared many a post on the NET thread but I've never seen you here before. Welcome.
I've never liked the HHV tobaccos, so I can't help with recreating them.
As @vaper1960 mentioned, Stixx Mixx makes very good NET extracts and has an extensive library of recipes, where you might find something. Good luck.

You’re ever down here, I’ll make you some that’ll thrill your tastebuds ;). Most every restaurant here has it on the menu, even the super chichi ones. It can be made with or without fruit. Raisin, banana, chocolate, pecan, or peach are common versions. (Obvs not all together lol). It’s similar to french toast in texture, but slightly moister. Top it with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream, drizzle some hot bourbon sauce... boom! Heaven
Stop it... I just ate dinner and now I am hungry again (drooling even)

Thanks ,but I skip the popcorn.
There are a couple flavors I detest. One is the popcorny AP. It's been well discussed over the years how some folks think it tastes like heaven and other folks think it tastes like...
I fall into the latter category.

    Sure thing.
I have 10 Dvarw clones, 4 Ares 2s, 2 Hellvape MDs, 3 2016 Doggystyles, 1 MTL Brunhilde (with 2 on the way), 1 Silverplay RTA, and a few random ones I am forgetting at the moment.

For mods, I have 5 or 6 Aegis Solos, an Aegis Max, 4 or 5 Asmodus Colossals, a Voopoo Drag, a Voopoo Drag Plus X, a few Swag IIs, and a Vaporesso Forz. Also a Tarot Nano and a Vaporesso Polar. Plus a few other random ones.
