Better shop early for that gift this year. Might want to go ahead and get next year’s gift too.
I like the way you think, Hitt! I think the dani covers this year. I guess next year I’ll just pull out an unopened something from the stash and pretend it’s new :(

Mine still hasn't shipped, neither has my nic order from River Supply. These vendors must be working overtime to get all of these packages out.
I just received an email from Avail about shipping. So your order should be getting close to being shipped too.

I've got to laugh ('cause otherwise I'd cry) when I recoil and -wick. My vision is so approximate, I feel like I'm working blind half the time. I would give a lot to have my old extremely near-sighted and astigmatic precataract surgery eyes back. At least with glasses (with heroically thick lenses), I could see clearly. I never do now, with reading glasses, prescription glasses, or no glasses at all.
I thought the cataract surgery cured many eye things. Did I get this wrong?

I was thinking the same thing, so I decided to get my Father's Day gift taken care of just a little while ago.

With the amount of shopping I’ve been doing the last month or two, I think I’ve covered birthdays and Xmas.

I decided to treat myself to a blue Dicodes SBS mod.. I just hope it doesn't travel through Memphis.

Good luck! I’ve been eyeing the digiflavor sbs. I have never had one so don’t know if I’d like one.

With what those cost they should buy it an airline ticket.

Does anyone on here filter NETS through a coffee press? I have a large amount of filter for that. Not sure why I bought such a big piece but I paid quite a bit for it and if anyone needs it, I would be glad to give for free
@PapawBrett does quite a lot of tobacco extracting

I have this theory that what's missing in our diets is insects (most primates pick insects off each other and eat them) I'm being quite serious. Also, battered deep fried earthworms might be good ;)
Ok, but there's a wide gulf between theory and reality. Theory always requires testing in the real world.
    So, we'll await your testing.

I've read a lot about making NETs... they say you need a really good filter (like 2 microns) I guess you don't have to use that but it will clog things up quickly. Also, you have to soak the tobacco for months (or try the alcohol method but then you have to evaporate off the alcohol) Most people use pipe or cigar tobacco. I would still love to try this (I make home brewed beer and hard apple cider and once made medicinal herbal extracts)

It gets rid of the cataracts and, since the natural lenses are replaced with artificial ones, it eliminates what flaws were in the originals. But the artificial lenses are imperfect, too. I did what most people do and chose lenses that gave me good distance vision but require reading glasses for any close work. Objects that are midway between the two are somewhat blurry but not so much that I need to wear glasses to see them. But I can no longer make things clearer by squinting, which is a loss, and I find that in general the replacement lenses provide a less flexible, adaptable kind of vision. As I said earlier, I would rather have my old eyes. I had to wear glasses with very thick lenses, but, with them on, I could see everything clearly. And, without them, I could still hold things really close to my eyes and see.

I do have a pair of prescription trifocals that are supposed to support near, middle, and far distance, but they're a strain to wear because my eyes are constantly having to locate the portion of the lenses that will allow me to see what I'm trying to see. I only wear them when I go out, because I don't enjoy always having to whip out a pair of reading glasses whenever I want to see something up close.

Don't get me wrong: I enjoy not having to wear glasses all the time anymore, and heaven knows the way I see now is miles better than it was with cataracts, but the rigidity, for lack of a better word, of my new vision is irksome. (It doesn't help, of course, that I frequently suffer from double vision because of MS, and it has also scarred the optic nerves in both my eyes.)

    Sorry for the tome, everyone.

Well... reality is a double bacon cheeseburger or pepperoni pizza (I doubt we were ever meant to eat such things)... and I know for a fact, we are not supposed to drink "mother's milk" from cows. Why do people get so freaked out about the thought of eating insects and worms? Do any of you actually know what's in hot dogs? You might be surprised. BTW... I am more than willing to test my theory ;) Some other cultures (countries) are appalled by what we eat... including eggs! The very thought horrifies them.
