Hi Bronze, I wish I could be more specific. It is thick material-like stuff. I think I might know someone I can ask and I will PM you with info if I get itI have a fair amount of filters. What kind of filters you talking about?

I forgot I was looking at that Ursa on some site I forgot. Do you like that one?I cannot wait for this day to be over. I have a little work to do this morning but nothing scheduled after that. If it was up to me, I'd just go home at noon if nothing else came up. I guess it'll be as good of a day as any to clean the shop.
I used a crockpot and pipe tobacco soaking in PG. It was not hard. Tedious maybe.I've read a lot about making NETs... they say you need a really good filter (like 2 microns) I guess you don't have to use that but it will clog things up quickly. Also, you have to soak the tobacco for months (or try the alcohol method but then you have to evaporate off the alcohol) Most people use pipe or cigar tobacco. I would still love to try this (I make home brewed beer and hard apple cider and once made medicinal herbal extracts)
Good morning back at yaGood morning random mixers.
that is a lot to learn and thank you for the information. I have developed a cataract in my left eye and although the ophthalmologist says I have several years to go before it becomes a matter of surgery, it is still bothersome. Losing the tiniest bit of vision throws off so much and then interferes with being able to focus (mentally), act fast, count on myself, etcIt gets rid of the cataracts and, since the natural lenses are replaced with artificial ones, it eliminates what flaws were in the originals. But the artificial lenses are imperfect, too. I did what most people do and chose lenses that gave me good distance vision but require reading glasses for any close work. Objects that are midway between the two are somewhat blurry but not so much that I need to wear glasses to see them. But I can no longer make things clearer by squinting, which is a loss, and I find that in general the replacement lenses provide a less flexible, adaptable kind of vision. As I said earlier, I would rather have my old eyes. I had to wear glasses with very thick lenses, but, with them on, I could see everything clearly. And, without them, I could still hold things really close to my eyes and see.
I do have a pair of prescription trifocals that are supposed to support near, middle, and far distance, but they're a strain to wear because my eyes are constantly having to locate the portion of the lenses that will allow me to see what I'm trying to see. I only wear them when I go out, because I don't enjoy always having to whip out a pair of reading glasses whenever I want to see something up close.
Don't get me wrong: I enjoy not having to wear glasses all the time anymore, and heaven knows the way I see now is miles better than it was with cataracts, but the rigidity, for lack of a better word, of my new vision is irksome. (It doesn't help, of course, that I frequently suffer from double vision because of MS, and it has also scarred the optic nerves in both my eyes.)
Sorry for the tome, everyone.
It's really not terrible, and I was very glad to lose the cataracts. It's just frustrating to have eyes that are so much less responsive. Who knows? Maybe the change will be easier for you, since your eyes have already been fiddled with.Sorry to hear all that, Zaz. I read all this with great interest, as I'm 10 years post Lasik (I also had to choose between far and close, I chose far because of the driving) and I know that I'm going to need cataract surgery in the future. Near future, I'm afraid.

Came close to getting it but......1. I don't need it and 2. I don't like Sourcemores checkout.I do very much like it. It comes with two different pods and a coil for each as well as a 510 adapter. It's kind of a heavy mod but not too heavy. I have extra coils for the smaller pod that uses the regular ultra boost coils and also got a couple of rbas for the pro pod. I've been using it with the ultra boost pod and the .2 coil at 45 watts and getting good flavor. The pods have a lot of airflow and even with the slide closed there's a fair amount of air.

Thankfully I've never had a big interest in DNA mods. They take credit card and if you use the western union option then when you get the contact from them you can then pay with paypal. I haven't "needed" a lot of the stuff I've bought the last couple months but a lot of it was stuff I always wanted like a few dna color mods and figured I'd get them while I can.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
Good morning, Fran
Yep, I have to get the winch mounted on the tractor.

Gotcha beat. I have an old 18650 Gripper they haven't made in many years topped with a carto tank of plain peppermint.I bought all that stuff and here I sit using my old Jac Vapor mod, vaping a single flavor mix of 555 Gold INW in a mtl tank.
My vape drawer looks pretty though...![]()
If there are any filters I need, 5 micron would be it.@Bronze or anyone else that might be interested. I found the friend I was doing this with here on ECF and she knew where to find the info (of course she had a spreadsheet and I didn't)
The filter is from McMaster Carr and it is 5 Macrons. I have enough for fitting 4-5 coffee presses at least. It has been bagged for a number of years and I do not want to get it out and possibly get cat,dog hair on it
