I've pretty much decided on lines whenever I get a new pair of glasses, but that'll be ages from now, since I barely use the ones I have, so I'm unlikely to break them, and with fake lenses in my eyes presumably my prescription isn't going to change.

me either. I have bought a few because someone said they were all the rage. I could not tell the difference. Chances are I was not using them to the best of their ability but I did not care enough to learn
dna chipsets are the Cadillac of chips. No two ways about it. However, they can be very complicated and a major turnoff to most vapers. Anything that hooks up to your computer scares people and I can't say I blame them. The DNA chip is mostly for the die hard enthusiasts who like to tinker. They have made them more user friendly but it is still beyond what most vapers want to fuss with. But they are highly accurate, highly versatile, and extremely durable for those who want to fart around with them. I have a couple of them. I do temp control. While I noticed little difference at first, that didn't last long. After a couple months I noticed a major difference. I wont go back to power mode. A temp control vape is more saturated to me. More fulfilling. It does change how you vape and that's why I did not notice in the beginning. It wasn't until I adjusted my vape style (unknowingly) that I noticed the difference. And even then, I had to try power mode again to know it.
just too much for my frazzled and unfocused brain to get into at 61. I did try temp control with Asmodus Minikins and liked it but something went wrong and I went back to power. I do have a couple of Lost Vape Paranormals in my stash but will never learn to use them right so they are a waste on me

You're not alone. Not many people like messing with DNA chips. I got into it for maybe two days. Just enuf to get mine where I wanted them and I decided I didn't need the hobby so they stayed set where they were and ever since.just too much for my frazzled and unfocused brain to get into at 61. I did try temp control with Asmodus Minikins and liked it but something went wrong and I went back to power. Maybe 4% was too high, if the bitter wizard doesn't help, I'll try diluting it.
Wife also had cataract surgery and she also went with corrective lens in both eyes. First time since she was wee-little that she didn't need glasses except readers for the close fine print stuff. Her vision also started to get blurred and the Doc stated this was normal, and that a film can start to form on the new lenses. Easily resolve with a laser to remove the film and was done in the office if I remember correctly. May want to ask you Doc about this if you have not gone through this already. This is also assuming that it might be your problem.
