I did 1.5 icv, 1.5 ic, 0.5 crisp waffle. I only did 15, in case the waffle cone isn’t in line with flavor notes. How long did y’all steep for?

@hittman ... did you try Julia Su’s almond croissant recipe?
    A month for me

They are a smoke shop... not just vape so limited choices. Basically getting Naked juices (the other two brands they have are candy/ ice stuff) Oh, and going to try some CBD juice (tried it before with oral drops and liked it)
Thanks. I've heard folks say they like the Naked juices, but I've never had one. I'm regularly naked when I try juices, but that's not the same.

I think made my first IC base on the 20th. I starting dripping a bit every couple days to see how it was developing. At 7 days I was pretty happy with it.

Crisp waffle is a good choice for the cone. WF Sugar Cone smells very similar to that waffle. I'll end up doing a couple 10mls using each one of those.

I mixed it but haven’t tried it.

I really like the FA pomegranate a lot. IMO the sweetness is on the low side. There is some tartness and a light bitterness. It's very nice in my black tea mix. I don't have the TFA so I can't compare them.
I know it's just me, but tart and bitter are not flavor components I like in my ejuices.
But, LOL, the anti-sweet mafia is strong here.

Crisp waffle sounded more like a crunchy cone, sugar cone sounded more like a soft serve ice cream cone from what I gathered. I’d be happy for both to be a good, crunchy brown cone though. I’ll give it a tiny test next week to see what it’s doing.

Larger amounts also take longer to steep so giving my 60ml of ice cream a month.
I learned that the hard way.... remember the 240ml of cheesecake I made early on. Took FORever to steep  Dairy and bakery up to 30 ml get a month. I used to do repeats in 60ml and steep 2 months. To me, it’s easier to make several 30’s of one recipe instead.

Instead of several bottles I just figure anything I mix with my unsteeped ice cream base will take less time to steep.

I picked up some caramel flavoring to try to replicate an OSDIY one-shot. Used 3% with 2% each of vanilla and graham since those were the three flavors mentioned in the description. Gave it a try this morning. Doesn't taste anything like what I was trying to copy but it was good. Not really a fair test because it's only 3 days old and vanilla and graham take time to steep, so it could get even better. First impression is it needs some sweetener. I never use sweetener but this one might need it.

I never tried caramel because I can't stand it as a food item but it works for me in a vape.
I might like that combination. Which vendors for the flavors?

I forgot that I have WF Sugar Cone. I haven't tried it yet but I need to.

I’m kind of headachy (probably allergies or work or not getting enough sleep) so I don’t feel like mowing grass right now. I think I’ll start a flavor order.

    lol

that is how I cure headaches as well. The headache initially goes away and then comes back worse when I check the credit card.

    Hi guys,

I need to bend the ears of some expert DIYers. I have a whole bunch of si for varietal cigar leafs and wrappers from Juice Cabin which I have not enjoyed very much. They taste like linear, non-complex slightly bitter tobaccos and I think having not smoked for a long time has seen my palate not be so inclined to enjoy these type of dyed-in-the-wool tobaccos.

Having gotten into DIY I figured this would be the best opportunity to bring to life these tobaccos with sweeteners, koolada, custards and vanilla, hereby collective referred to as (“enhancers”).

I mixed most of the enhancers at about 1% , using just one enhancer in each juice. I also mixed some at 2-3% just to see what would happen at the upper end of the range. I even mixed TFA cotton candy at a whopping 5%.

now here is where my journey with DIY has become perplexing and expectation gap has been wide.

I was expecting these tobaccos to sweeten up into delectable sweet concoctions that would be much more enjoyable to vape. I figured the tobacco would mute and soften a little and become less sharp and pronounced.

instead what I got was mildly sweeter off tasting tobacco. Even ethyl maltol at 5% just had a weird off sweet taste. Capella vanilla custard at 3% also didn’t diminish the sharpness and bitterness of the tobacco.

I was expecting sweet and super sweet from Capella and TFA to really give the juice a sweetness but they didn’t have that effect at all.

I am beginning to learn that you can’t transform a juice you don’t like into a juice you do like with the enhancers. What I don’t understand is why the juice didn’t taste significantly sweeter, particularly when I used super sweet at 2-3% and cotton candy at 5%.

I ordered the Voopoo V Thru and Geekvape Wenax K1 today following a revelation that pod mods have improved significantly since the harsh scratchy over heated list of pods released last year.

Grimm Greens gushing review of these pods had me insta-buying.

my hope is that they are as good as the disposable pods coming out of China such as the Iget.

Those disposable Igets from China blow every other pod out of the water for smoothness, nicotine hit and flavour. Now I’ve put in an order for 2000 puff Gunnpods in China which are the newest big thing that is saturating oceanic and Asian markets.

These disposable have seen my Vros, Osmall, Vladdin and Smok Novo 1 and 2 collect dust. I used to love my Novo 2.
