Good morning :)
Not really quite the good morning for me, but there are positives. I taste-tested my jun tea yesterday and it tastes like it's an elixir of the gods. Our 3rd man on the crew, without any notice, decides fishing isn't for him(couldn't really be a worse time, besides the fall run). I could rant on and on about what a BS move it is, but I'll spare you all.. He's of the generation where they want everything handed to them without any work involved, and that's about all you need to know.

I used 1% in this cheesecake. Would you think 1 or 2% would be good in a ice cream or pudding?
I don't know how strong the ice cream flavoring is you are using so not sure. You should be OK with 2% with the pudding base.

But I would for sure not want to go any higher than 2%. Especially for the first attempt at mixing it.

I think that’s sad. I hope you can find someone that wants to work.

I've worked with people like that before and still have one or two that work for our company. The one guy whines that he hasn't had a raise in a while but continues to do the absolute minimum every day. No self motivation at work and never steps up to help any extra but expects to sit back and get paid more.

Ok, I can take the hint. I’ll go with the pudding and 1.5%.

That is probably what I would go with to start.

BTW, I recently discovered that the starfruit goes well with peach flavoring too. I can't remember if you like peach or not.

I don’t own a peach flavor anymore. Like it but can’t vape it.

Last time he said he could operate and see if something was wrong with her ACL. It was going to be 1500 just to see. She healed on her own. That was the left leg. This time the right one is bothering her.

Thanks. I'm sure she will. We'll keep an eye on her and if need be she can go back to the vet for an exam. When she was a pup her back legs would sometimes go out of socket and we would have to massage them back into place. If I knew surgery would do any good then we would get it done but she always seems to get better on her own. If it goes too long then we'll definitely take her.

I could try it any time. I just haven’t gotten around to it.

Well...here you go! Now you'll have no excuse.

    Happy hump day :)

I remember at the beginning of the pandemic I bought very expensive masks. Price has dropped considerably. My brother gave my parents some masks that the ear pieces fell right out or they were too loose. Useless. Most of the ones I’ve bought have been good.

At the start there were none available around us. So I googled up some patterns and started sewing. We still use some of the same ones I made then, along with more made along the way. Dual layer tight weave cotton, replaceable ear straps. Sent multiples to all our kids and a few friends. No trash.

Estimated 1.56 billion face masks will have entered oceans in 2020 - OceansAsia Report

In any event, DO cut the ear straps before properly disposing of disposable masks. Helps keep critters from getting strangled. (Been doing that for decades with plastic can carriers and such.)

I am beginning to learn that you can’t transform a juice you don’t like into a juice you do like with the enhancers. What I don’t understand is why the juice didn’t taste significantly sweeter, particularly when I used super sweet at 2-3% and cotton candy at 5%.

Tobaccos do need a long steep, so if you've mixed these recently, waiting a while may be the best option. But yeah, if you really don't like a mix, usually not possible to tweak it enough to be enjoyable.

That said, instead of a straight sweetener maybe try a sweetish fruit instead. Cherry and peach can work well with a tobacco, adding some sweetness and perhaps taking the edge off the tobac.

Good morning random folks :)Have you any plans today?

Well, after crawling around under the house for half of yesterday fixing a clogged dryer exhaust vent (due to the layout, about 25'), I think a sit down job for today in on the agenda. Grass is demanding it's first shave of the year. Yup, riding mower.

I have a couple tanks in rotation that I'm ready to dump so maybe I'll give it a try tonight. I have liked several of Julia Su's recipes so I have high hopes for this one.

I have mixed a buttload of cheesecakes over the years. Since mango was a pretty much ignored flavor I have never mixed a mango cheesecake. I am so far really liking this. Not sure what Starfruit brings to the mix but it’s good. I think I’m going to do a Starfruit pudding or ice cream just to get more of a feeling for the flavor.
I expect to be posting this recipe later today.
Fran, what is the ice cream base you use? My only flavor that even approaches an ice cream is Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, which doesn't taste like ice cream at all. Are you buying a straight base flavor for ice cream or mixing your own?

From BCF. SSA Ice Cream and SSA Vanilla Ice Cream. The two mixed together at low percentage make a decent ice cream.

By any chance, especially given her age, could it be a joint problem like arthritis ?

If it is, there are a number of physical remedies and even some anti-inflammatory products and even CBD Oil massaged into area . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Thanks. I'll be ordering from BCF in the next few days and will get those. I've already added the VTA pudding you talked about to my wish list.

I love that pudding base and the ice creams also.
