I've rarely bought flavors with recipes in mind.Nice. I should be getting a BCF order later this week, plus maybe my Chefs order too. I'll have some new flavors to play with. This time I actually bought flavors with particular recipes in mind.
I agreeSlow cookers are a great invention.
I think this is the first time I've gone out to specifically buy flavors for a recipe.I've rarely bought flavors with recipes in mind.
I'm a slo cooker ................but I think I was hatched not invented ...................Slow cookers are a great invention.
It's not funny.
So I'm guessing it's still slow at work?Wouldn't that depend if you're the duster or the dustee?
Good morning mixers. I had no idea until I got to work that the boss was off again until Thursday. I'm honestly glad he's gone with my work being slow again. At least I don't have to worry about making up stuff to do.
Wouldn't that depend if you're the duster or the dustee?
I hope you end up liking the recipes.I think this is the first time I've gone out to specifically buy flavors for a recipe.
I don't have the TFA but still think a sub would be fine. How's that Baked Strawberry?Does anyone here have an experience with TFA Vanilla Custard II? I see a recipe on ATF that might be tasty and wondered if subbing Cap Vanilla Custard is comparable. This is the recipe:

No idea. That is one of the reasons that recipe appealed to me. I've had it for a bit now and haven't used it.I don't have the TFA but still think a sub would be fine. How's that Baked Strawberry?
I'm not the biggest fan of custard by itself either. I need some fruit or something to go with it to enjoy it. I am curious though, do you happen to have a link to the contest recipe you liked? Or just the name of it and I can do a search? You are correct.
I think it would work ok. The only place I've used the TFA is in the recipe from the mix off between Wayne and Nick Evans. I never did a sft on it. I'm not a big lover normally of straight custard recipes but that one that Wayne did for the contest is the best I've had. I think it's like any other type of flavor where some love it and some hate it. If you have the Cap then I'd mix a 10ml sample with it in the recipe and try it. If it's not good then you can always order it.
Purely academic, Unc. Sorry.
wondering what kind of circles Zazie runs in........![]()

When I got out of high school my circle was 220 pounds. I went almost immediately into the Army, they said we will knock that off of you in basic training .......... When I finished basic I weighted 220 pounds. I am near 74 years now and have gained a lot since. I am now 226.........Why there is no NEED to apologize - "Academic" - is just as FUN . . . .
From as little as I know of @Zazie" , I actually don't think they would have to "Run" in any circles . . . The "Circles" run around them . . . Just Sayin' . . .
.
