Thanks for posting that. I didn't look it up. I personally would go higher on the bakery orange just because I would want it to be fairly up front but that's just me.
Well, I’ll just send you my mix then . It’s most definitely orange forward!

So sry Fran, let me see if this is better

1ml Cup of Joe in Classwife's recipe is equal to 2%
2ml Sweet Cream in Classwife's recipe is equal to 4%
1/2ml Vanilla Swirl in Classwife's recipe is equal to 1%

I only listed it this way in case someone wanted to mix a smaller or larger bottle than 50 ml.

I will try to be more precise in the future, sry for any confusion.

    :)

I just saw @Zazie's post. Thank you for 'splaining.....
No problem sweetie :) I finally figured out what you did.

I had 4 at work. They are pretty cool, but freaking time intensive to run. A chemical analysis would get us nowhere, as those would be based on the chemical % of the whole mix, not by each flavor.

I had something more simple in mind, like an electronic super taster machine lol. Just narrow it down to each flavor. Then, y’all could figure out the brands. I have great faith in y’alls superior to mine taste buds.
I really doubt that my taste buds are any better than yours.

That looks very organized to me. I have a bunch of notebooks that I should put in a binder. BTW, my little pieces of paper, with notes and ideas, get scotch taped in my notebooks, and they are dated! ;)
They’re actually separated into sections with binder clips. Hard to tell from the bottom side. It’s about as organized as I get in my home world. But, it works, so no harm, no foul.

Cloudy and maybe 58 here. Sunny and 68 would be much better. I could really enjoy a couple 79 degree days but we're hard-pressed to even reach 70 in these parts.
    A humid 81* here. I’d love a few days of y’alls weather.

 I do know HOW to fold sheets and we used to. Just in case you were curious, I learned how to fold them at a young age. Then I learned how to do it the way of the military, in basic, courtesy of the US Navy.

There is no need to fold them these days. The bunched ball method, which I've perfected, works BEST for me . . . Just Sayin'. :pervy:

Do you iron your sheets too? ;) :D
I used to iron the whole set. Now I do the top sheet and pillow cases. Cases only if I’m in a hurry. And, yes, I use starch. Ironed sheets just feel better. May be because I only use 100% cotton though.

Please, do not put any faith in my sense of taste. It's ummm, fussy. :D

Did ya know that once we reach ~40 our taste buds stop growing back? And our sense of smell declines at middle age too.

How Our Sense of Taste Changes as We Age
All i know is when my sense of taste and smell re-emerged from years of smoking, it was a huge hit in the face....I especially remember thinking that the ground beef I was making for dinner was rancid because I hadn't really been able to smell it all of those years.....needless to say, I did not eat that dinner but everyone else said it was fine....since then I have no problems smelling or tasting things the way they really are. yuck to most of it. LOL

    :)

Matters not to me, since the majority of your mixes make my buds happy. The only place we don’t match up is flavors we dislike. You however have a solid grip on a flavors possibilities. I still rely heavily on my flavor notes. It makes recipe writing time intensive. I do better to alter an existing online recipe to my preferences.

    Like everything else.
There may be hope yet. According to @ShowMeTwice article the last part is encouraging to people like us who are constantly seeking new aromas.

"But don't despair, silver foxes: There may be a silver lining.

Brain scans of perfumers have found that the olfactory parts of their brains actually grew more developed as they got older, not the other way around, as with most people. That suggests that actively differentiating aromas and seeking out new ones may help reverse the normal effects of aging on the sense of smell. You may, in other words, be able to teach yourself to get more flavor from food as you get older.

"Practice does seem to help," Pelchat says. "So maybe there's hope.""

    Like everything else.
I have a growing list of things that have declined that I am in need of. ;)

New, and improved, memory (with faster recall option)
A new, and expanded, storage medium
Bunches of parts (easier than listing them)

I am probably forgetting some stuff cuz parts of the current memory modules have glitches. Occasional power outages too.

Oh yeah, I am in need of an uninterruptible full body power supply too!

Since you like a lot of my mixes I would say our taste buds are "somewhat" similar, just not on everything. Like you, if I find a recipe that catches my eye, almost 100% of the time I will change it.
