Some things need to be... :)
MF guava is one of those. IIRC I tested it at 2 drops to 30ml. That's roughly 0.15%.

I had the cap off in my kitchen and the room ended up smelling like guava. Very nice.

It never occurred to me to try it as a sft.
I wouldn't want to vape it solo (except for my initial test) It is strong but also just what my cheesecake needed.
BTW... you all may wonder what I do with my 10 ml solo batches. After a quick test, I mix those into simple test recipes (mostly just 2 flavors) If those work out I write and mix actual recipes (I know... I do things the hard way)

You'll get there. Bet you're smoking less, at least.
Because of vaping, I quit for 9 months... I can do it again. All these newer flavors and recipes will make that easier (and more fun) Maybe after my taste buds bounce back I will look at those % again and think "what the heck was I thinking?"
On a side note" just got my Direct vapor order. 4 ml Zlide tank, extra Z coils (0.8 and 0.3) some small pods and another extra Kroma Z pod. Plus some drop-in coils for my DL tank (Vaporesso NRG)... they even (accidentally) gave me an extra pack for free. I just wanted the Revenger X mod (love it) but since it came with the tank I blow a few clouds now and then (have to mix 3mg for that)

I found it you mix some single flavors at higher % it will really throw off the actual taste. I would get anywhere from soapy, playdough, putty, funk, woodsey, perfumey, floral, peppery, just yuck aftertaste... that just shouldn't be there. Admittedly I'm a novice mixer, mostly single, 3-4 flavor recipe, one shots, commercial eliquid I dilute but in my limited experience more isn't always better when it comes to flavors and even diluted doesn't make it taste better.
I know... have had that happen before. I've been lucky my last two flavor orders... no off notes (21 flavors)

Glad you got some of that stuff you wanted finally.

I don't "get" something. So, I'll just say what I'm thinking.

Many people on here regularly post their recipes, with the flavoring % that "work" for them in that recipe. Some people ask others, when they're using a new-to-them flavoring...what % would they recommend starting with, or what % worked for them in an sft if they did one. Others will often say "oh, that would be way too high for me, I'd go with X% instead", or "I'd go higher on the (whatever flavoring)", etc. Everyone is fine with those statements, because we all know personal preferences and tastes vary greatly. There haven't been snide comments, jabs, etc. directed toward the person who originally posted the % they used that worked for them.

Vaper1960 has posted, several times, as he's ordered/gotten new flavorings...that he's doing sfts on each of them, so he'll know what % he'll use for them in his DIY recipes. So the sft % list he posted shows what has worked for him and his tastes.

"Master flavor list (with solo %) done. A lot of work but it's going to be so much easier mixing now."

"Wasn't going to post this but thought it might help someone (keep in mind these are SOLO %)."

It seemed clear, to me anyway, that the list he posted was his own findings, based on the sfts he did, and that it would make mixing, for him, much easier. Maybe it would even help some other people, too.

So, I don't understand, in this case anyway...why some of the posts about it have been made. It's honestly surprised me. :?:
I am sooo glad you said all that

I agree with @JCinFLA . I usually leave this thread for awhile when it gets nasty. I think it is fine for anyone to post what they use, like or dislike even if they are new to mixing. We can all take it, leave it or adjust it.

And this is why I don't post many recipes on here. I will be working on doing a blog or something with MY experiences on sft's at some point. If anyone reads it, fine and if not, that is fine also.
I agree wholeheartedly. There seems to be a select few. Like the immature boys at the playground, who taunt a certain other relentlessly (maybe it makes them feel better?) you would think by the time they are able to vape that they would have outgrown that type of thing

Would anyone here prefer a newb take questionable DIY advice from someone, then fail at DIY and end up thinking DIY totally sucks? No, I didn't think so.
this thread is not labeled "DIY know how from experts". We all have a contribution to make whether YOU think it is right or correct

I would love to see someone show up at the VU or ELR forums with said antics.
I have never seen the 'antics' you describe from Vapor. I have seen his opinion, which you and a few childish others, rake over the coals from time to time. Last I checked this was not VU or ELR and you were not the be all say all of what is right in DIY

Just giving back what I have always gotten in this thread. It's the reason I don't share recipes any more.

I was wondering why I had not seen any more recipes from you lately. I saved several that you had posted in the past, I need to try the others, but your "NYA Nana Butter" is one of my ADV's. I think our taste bud's are distant cousins or something, because I have liked all your recipes I have tried. So Please Post Them! :)

I some times wish I could put one of these on the label.

But, but… then I won’t have anything else in my recipes under “Skeebo’s xyz” except Moon Pie. I was alternating between that and a new recipe for Lemon Cheesecake yesterday. Personally, I love your banana recipe.

I agree and wish Skeebo would post his recipes.

I have the MF guava. Thinking I can put one drop in a 15ml bottle and then finish my recipe flavors??

My MF blackberry is good @1 - 1.5% single flavor with a couple drops of sweetener..

I did once @ 2% with .5 % sweetener and it was great right away but then it steeped! Haha
I need to get that one. I love blackberry. I’m happy with my current combo, but what if it’s even better :w00t:
MF were some of the few I made sft bottles of to let them steep. Then, tested them with a base bottle of custard I keep on hand. Well, except mint. I’m going to “assume” that one will be minty.
I have accomplished nothing today except for ferrying my MIL to and from her teeth extractions. They handed her back over all loopy with a mouth full of cotton. Got her settled in, and went to hunt for an outfit for two events this weekend where my current wardrobe of jeans and tees won’t do. No luck there. Tomorrow will be attempt two. At least it’s not the same people, so I can wear the outfit both nights. IF I can find one that is.
