Morning, all.

More sun, but temps are supposed to stay in the habitable range. Uh huh.

Morning folks. Hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day. I just wanted to hop on here and let you know I tried a recipe from ATF that I am enjoying. I hadn't mixed with FW Blueberry yet, so I wanted to find a mix to test it out in. I am pretty impressed by it. I did let it steep for the recommended 21 days before trying.
It is more blueberry than cheesecake, but it is pretty tasty.

Haven't decided yet but probably Mango FLV or may go raspberry. Idea is for a quick 2 day steep.
I just got FLV Mango and I really like it. I did a quick fruit mix just to try it out and I also have one recipe with it steeping.

Happy Memorial Day! I mixed this morning. I made the Trinity ice cream with LB but I increased the percentages. I made my own version of Tiger Stripe by upping the percentages and not using licorice while adding the most sweet cream by MB. I also mixed Papaw’s Nation’s Capitol.

Dry burned and rewicked. Tiger stripe is good but a bit thin. Maybe the licorice would add that something missing. I’ll be ordering it to see. Maybe adding a touch of tobacco would work too. It’s different and good and I’m enjoying vaping it. I think the addition of some kind of lemon would help with some missing zing as well. I think a dash of lemon helps all fruits personally.

Next tank will be the trinity.

We made a weekly meal plan so I’m headed to the grocery store soon. We are just staying home for the holiday. Probably make BBQ pork chops for dinner. Back to work tomorrow. I had the best time off although I worked in the house. I feel ready to head back.

Oh shoot. I need to mix some unflavored for work as I’m out. Maybe I’ll also mix the rest of Papaw’s then too.

More rain this morning. At least it’s a light one. Time for some coffee now. My youngest daughter came home last night with more stuff from her apartment. I hate that I’ve been having to pay the rent when she hasn’t been living there. Nothing I can do since we signed a lease. Just one more payment and the lease is over. Not sure yet what the next semester is going to bring since she’s not going back there and waiting to hear if she got in to nursing school at a different college. She just didn’t like it there.
Luckily we live close enough to my son’s college that he can commute (just like I did). I would not want to pay for a dorm or an apartment. Too expensive. Some say it teaches them to get by on their own and that’s true. But I have taken this pandemic year to teach my son some things.

He now does his own laundry and he helps me do dishes. He helps me get groceries. He also helps with the mowing. He keeps his bathroom decent but I do have to do the deeper cleaning. He also checks our tires and keeps them aired up. He helped me break down a bunch of huge boxes yesterday and with mulching the leaves in the driveway. So I’ve been working on him and hopefully they are somewhat of a substitute for not living away from home during college.

Hopefully she gets into a college that is a better fit.

I’ve enjoyed my lemon mix. I’m on my last tankful now and I’m going to take a break on lemon. While I’m taking a break I can figure out what my next lemon recipe will be. I have the feeling that I could burn out on lemon easily and next time would probably be for good. Therefore I am going to be careful.

It was 100 degrees here in "Fabulous" Las Vegas yesterday and about the same today if not hotter - 87 now. The SIL and I put up a 3x5 flag on the front of the house just in time for Memorial Day, and it looks great and will honor our vets and those who did not make it home.

Makes sense to keep switching things up. I try to do the same thing so I can avoid getting burned out on one type of flavor.
