What do you like for a good custard base?
This is an absolute favourite of mine....good with any fruit or other goodies....here with raspberry.

I have the kumquat flavor. I just tried it once but remember that I liked it.

Grape has been one of those illusive flavors for me. Do you have a good grape recipe?

If I'm cooking then the skins stay on the potatoes whether it's baked or cubed and fried in a pan.
I have the kumquat also but don’t believe I’ve tried it yet.

That sounds good but it sounds rather sweet. Does it really need that much super sweet?
No you can drop that back to taste and @ShowMeTwice will say it's plenty sweet without the sweetener. I just have always loved a nice sweet custard :)

It's a lovely eggy creamy custard. If you're going to like custard then this is a good bet :)
I’ll give it a shot. I don’t like too sweet so I don’t know what got me on a custard kick. No doubt a good custard will be too sweet but I have the urge to mix a good one.

I'll be interested in your opinion....brutal or otherwise :)

@FranC it may be worth noting that I'm quite happy vaping different fruit flavours with no sweetener so it's not a perpetual sweet tooth which drives the sweetness here. Switching things around is my thing otherwise everything loses its appeal. I keep a menthol vape going which cleans my pallette in just a few vapes....

You have your menthol and I have my peppermint....LOL. I have 8 different things going with different flavors. If I find that I really like the custard even if too sweet, I will find a place for it.

Nice. I'm jealous of your Galaxies. They are almost impossible to find now in any color besides rainbow. That is what I get for being late to the squonk party.

So just menthol by itself? What menthol flavoring do you use? I wouldn't mind having a palate cleaner. Especially for days that I am trying a few new recipes.

What percentages did you use? I think you've got be quite heavy with the percentages for a creamy custard....try that raspberry custard I posted without the fruits....it's a really good base. Steep two weeks minimum but six weeks is better....most custards need a really long steep in my experience :)
New flavors, so I was inching my way up lol. I was aiming for two profiles, an ic base and a frozen custard base. Mixed (4/15) 2 samples. 1) ssa ic 2, icv 3. Second, same % plus custard prem at 1.5%. What I got out of the second was washed out custard prem. I think your idea of a mouthfeel cream is a better option. That, plus some vanilla. Prem wasn’t the right choice here for a frozen custard. Maybe a pudding would be better? I need a fresh wick before I try the ic base. I plan on adding cone and fruit after to see if it’s better as a mix.

Proud of myself now.I got Charlie’s Double Cream Rasp Custard mixed. I just named mine Charlie’s Custard. Now I’m in for a long haul steep. Hoping all these 7 flavors were worth mixing. That’s a lot for me nowadays.

I remember why I haven’t mixed it yet… no Miss Cream. Could I sub?
I’m vaping your killer custard clone right now. It’s quite tasty :)
