Here's a story about the real meaning of fandom.

Back in the sixties I went to a game with a couple of mates where my team Sunderland were playing at Newcastle, about 10 miles north of us. We normally stayed away from derby matches which is what they called games between nearby teams, they tended to be rough.

Newcastle were up 2 goals to 1 ten minutes before the end of the game so we decided to bail out before the rush. On our way out we heard an enormous roar, followed by another one a couple of minutes later. Turned out Sunderland scored twice in the last few minutes giving them the game.

We knew it would be bad. Threw our Sunderland hats and scarves in a trash bin and ran for our lives. It was about a mile to the train station. Just as we got there Sunderland fans started running out of the station towards us followed by a load of cops with dogs. The cops had heard what happened and they were trying to secure the entrance to the station. We turned around and hundreds of angry Newcastle lads were running towards us. We thought we were done for, trapped between the cops and the mob, but right then the Sunderland lads came running down another street. The two armies turned towards each other and got stuck in. Somehow we managed to get into the station and onto a train. The fighting moved into the station but more cops with dogs managed to keep them away from the trains and we escaped with our lives.

Those were the days.
You see why I'm worried for any Italians in England right now.

@NolaMel - Forgot to respond about this yesterday IIRC, or maybe it was Friday night. ;) I'm glad you found my Banana Nut Bread to be very yummy after steeping a month. I didn't give it nearly long enough before trying it at first. After 3-4 weeks though, it gave me the really good taste I was looking for. :)
I’m planning on mixing a bigger bottle to put away to steep. I’m already halfway through this first one. I like that it actually tastes like the real food. I’ve tried a few other recipes and they were more candy banana in your face than bakery made with bananas. Bonus, it’s not too sweet either.

I would not add cinnamon to that. IMO, caramel would not be a good choice. It will bring more of a sweet buttery note. There is already plenty of sweetness in the flavors listed above. Much better options... if looking for a buttery note then add one of these... FA Butter, SSA Butter or VTA Butter Base at 0.25%.
I like cinnamon (but can add that later... after I try it without) Thank you for reminding me caramel would add more sweetness (don't want that) The truth is, the entire reason for making this is to have a use for OOO pie crust (your's sounds better... might have to try that crumble topping) Also, and I didn't mention this because it would confuse people) but I always mix peach/mango/apricot so sticking with that. I agree with Fran about adding croissant for the crust (and it's buttery... at least to me it is) I only have SSA ice cream so that will have to do (but will add some vanilla) The vanilla IC was out of stock when I ordered. I do have bavarian cream... would that fit in?

Eh, it was okay. Italy deserved the win, and I think if England had prevailed, it would have made everyone a little too cocky for their own good. Now I'm just hoping no Italian fans get hurt if they try to celebrate while still on foreign ground. I gather there's already been a fair bit of nastiness directed at the supporters of the visiting teams during this tournament, and I'm guessing some deeply disappointed UK residents would be happy to take revenge.
That's why I detest football partly....can't stand hooligan's, bar fights and general bigotry.... fortunately a minority in the UK

Has anyone ordered any bottles/tips/caps from DropperBottles.com in the last 6 months or so? I'm talking about only the easy squeeze LDPE Child Resistant dropper bottles that come with the regular pointy tips and caps. They can't be the PET bottles, nor the LDPE ones that are CR + Tamper Evident. The neck opening of those bottles and the bottom diameter of the tips for both...are larger than the Child Resistant only ones. If you have, I'd really appreciate it if you could PM me.
I've looked for those on and off for years and have never found any....the others (of which I have lots) are ok for my NIC and flavours but a pain in the .... for VG.....

Good morning

Got 8 mixes done yesterday and going to do some more today.

I added some Blueberry Jam along WF SC along with some Jammy Berry FLV to Fran's ice cream base so we'll see how that goes. Both at 0.5%.

Have a good day all :) Hope it's not too hot!!

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning. Contemplating starting a new work week. Neither excited or dreading. Not sure what the week will bring. It’s probably a good thing I won’t be home today since I made the wife mad last night. She was looking online at places to rent for my youngest going back to college and most were too expensive in my opinion. I voiced my concern and it didn’t go over well.

Good morning in here. No sleep for me. I'm gonna be grumpy today! Between the 19 year old cat yowling all night (we did take her to the vet) and the human who wakes up at the crack of dawn I'm exhausted. I got less than 4 hours of sleep. Might need to drink coffee the whole day.

Any chance of sneaking a nap in?

My pod in my Sceptre was leaking and sounded like a water .... lol so I looked for a spare pod and couldn't find any. I did have a brand new Sceptre (Gray/Black) so I opened it and have been using it. I got online and ordered pods and coils and a Kroma-Z to replace my other one since I have pods and coils for it.

I got an email from Element Vape, that they have the Geek Vape Obelisk 200 mod in stock. Are they a good company to buy from?

Very reliable company. I've ordered several times through them. Gret CS.
