Anybody have a recipe for pineapple upside down cake?
I haven't tried pineapple....it's always just seemed one of those flavours that is going to be meh. You could try looking for a cake recipe with fruit and subbing :)

    I just acquired a few different pineapple flavorings since its a food flavor I like a lot. No diy recipes so far that appeal so I tried the VT Sugarloaf Pineapple @6% as a single, good, but I'm doubtful it would lend itself well to layered, bakery, as the only pineapple.

    I don't but thought about that and wondered how to get the pineapple to taste "cooked"... caramel? And also maybe some VT jam it. I guess the real question is which pineapple?

    Good Early Morning All,

    I felt lousy about 7pm and went to bed for a "short nap" and used the new CPAP for the first time - and slept for 6 hours! So now I'm wide awake but the machine really helped me sleep. I have a "nose pillow" mask that sit under your nose and now my nose is sore but I'm sure that will pass as I get used to it.

    There is a baked pineapple but it was pretty mediocre as a sft. It might be better in a recipe.

    I use FA Liquid Amber (very small amount - .25% or so to start) to "bake" fruits. You'll need caramel too of course since it's a must for any pineapple upside down cake and then a good butter cake recipe..
