I'm still chasing the perfect apple pie. Someone mentioned a flavor... apple strudel (OOO) that sounded interesting. I like a bit of extra cinnamon but that is totally optional (I know most people don't like that) It seems one brand of apple pie doesn't have enough crust, another brand doesn't have enough apple. Some have mentioned adding some fuji apple to brighten them up (FA?)
So... going to lay low and hope I didn't disrupt this thread too much with my personal life (that was a mistake)
Your fine. I can’t help anybody with apple. It’s a flavor I’ve never been able to vape.

My guess is that FANA and FA Italy preemptively did that so the FDA wouldn't get involved. But that's anyone's guess. I really wonder if FA would sell those flavors to a baking store or website in the US for resale.

In Europe they are selling the FA flavors in FA's bottles. I don't know if that has anything to do with it versus rebottling in the US. I'm not 100% but I seem to recall @hittman posting something about Chef's rebottling some of the FA flavors.
Yeah, I remember reading something about Chef rebottling Fa years ago as well, but I think they sell it under a different name, and it's cheaper than the Fa bottles.

I have all of them except Milk, which I've never used. Yeah, I should probably order Corn and Milk and a few of the newer ones.

Has any one here mixed with Fa Milk? Thoughts?
You need FA milk, it’s is really good.

FA Milk is really good. I've used it in several mixes. From coffee to bakery mixes. IMO it's better than VT Milk Fresh which is also good.

That's as good a guess as any. I'm going with Casper, Wyoming.
I will bet on Anchorage, Alaska. I'll put down 2 Dvarw's and 2 cool mechs.

Whoever wins gets to go to Hitt's house and pickup some gear and flavors. He has the most so he should be the House.

Milk FA is one of the best milks in my opinion. I am probably one of the few that also like Milk WF, but I think the FA version has it beat. Mixing Milk FA with your favorite ice cream flavor really enhances the creaminess, density, and buttery-ness of the vape, making the ice cream fuller and thicker on the mouthfeel. I have not toyed with the flavor in any other way so that's really all I can offer on it.

This is Chef's re-bottled Fa line. £2 instead of £3.30.

I really like Cookies and Cream as a stand alone.
But I have plans on adding some Milk (when it gets here) to see what happens.

    Apple Pie

    crust: flaky and buttery
    VT Croissant 2.5%
    WF Croissant 1.75%
    FA Apple Pie 1%

    apples:
FA Fuji 2% - Fresh, crisp apple flavor - exceptional fresh fruit flavor - one of FA’s very best fruit flavors. Fuji is a prominent flavor that stands out in mixes more than FA Apple. It is not sweet like FA Apple is. Fuji is more of a tart apple.

FA Apple (Stark) 1%-1.5% - Mild, mellow, realistic apple juice flavor, like the juice of Stark Yellow Delicious apples. Mildly sweet with no tart notes.

Use Fuji and Apple together for a more complex apple flavor.

Add a little FA Liquid Amber for a baked apple taste.

Cinnamon if desired. FA Walnut would be a nice addition.

ETA: I'm pretty sure @Opinionated uses FA Liquid Amber and recently posted something about it and a suggested %. :)

Thanks for the reminder! Someone in this thread suggested it and said it was great as a standalone, so I ordered it. I put it away and forgot all about it. What percentage do you mix it at? I'll add some milk to it.

Pretty sure I mixed it at 2% (it's been a while and I know it's not written down)

Apologies for barging in, but does anyone know of a U.S. vendor that sells Fa Corn? I bought mine from DIY Vapor Supply a couple of years ago, and just ran out. DIY Vapor Supply doesn't carry it anymore, and I can't find it on any other U.S. site either.
Hiya, Maz :). Hope someone can help you. These guys know most every vendor and flavor. I never heard of Fa Corn. What does it taste like and what kind of taste buds do you have?????o_Oo_Oo_O:laugh::laugh:

Tried a little too much FA Cookie and that changed it too much, I didn't care for the buttery shortbread cookie.
I have found cookie (mine is PUR but similar) can easily take over a recipe. great flavor to use but at less%

Ok... I know I said I was out of here. I would like to discuss DIY (and nothing else... I seem to stir up trouble when I do that)
My mistake for getting into my personal life (and not judging, complaining or anything else) I really just want to talk DIY and nothing else (you guys are fine with the random stuff... fair enough?)
I did did a peach pie... used OOO pie crust and WF croissant (made a very delicious crust... pie crust on it's own is very bland) To my surprise, the crust took over... had to add more peach (the crust actually muted the peach) I also added cinnamon but was so worried about using too much I couldn't even tell it was in there. Made some adjustments and loving it (btw, it's "a' la mode" with vanilla ice cream)
My chocolate chip mint ice cream was fine... just needed a bit more mint. Gave root beer another try (way less RB and lots of ice cream/vanilla) Still didn't like it (that's odd because I can do licorice and love it) It might sound crazy, but GrimmGreen (does YT videos) said he loves rootbeer/banana so just added some banana... who knows (going to try that right now) Sounds wacky to me but who knows.
I never found a root beer or root beer float that I liked. Let me know if the banana helped, as I have both in my tiny stock :)

    Hey Kat!

Fa Corn tastes like heaven, lol! Creamed corn might be a little more descriptive though. I mix it with Cookie, Breakfast Cereal and Vienna Cream for a corn muffin recipe. It's HIC's recipe actually.

I wish the review was after he/she had vaped it, rather than after just smelling it. Might give it a try, but I would be surprised if it's as good as the Fa, which is in my top five favorite flavors ever.
Then again, flavor is subjective. He/she might love it and you might not. Best of luck, Maz! :thumb:
