I just put my jeweler's headset on and used a bright flashlight to look inside the base...through the big airflow slot. I can see the bottom, intact part, of the positive post insulator, in there. Maybe that has broken or is missing on yours??
I’ll look tomorrow. I also just realized the GV prebuilt I put in is 3mm.

I finally caught up. I've been out of commission for the last 4 days dog sitting my mom's fat spoiled dog. She's the sister I never wanted. I've been covered in dog hair and spit for four days now.

All this talk about Dvarws. Someone piffed me one and I couldn't get it to stop leaking. I put it away in my stash. It's the only one I own.

Let’s see… honeysuckle, peach, pear, apple, cucumber and jasmine.

I was curious to know what you'd thought would be the only flavorings you'd ever need. So I'd done some searching to see if I could find out what the 6 were. I'd found and written down the first 3. Also thought vanilla might be 1 of the 6...before I just came back and saw your post telling what they really were. :D

Within the last couple weeks...someone else had mentioned that a 3mm coil had caused a problem with their Dvarw. I don't remember exactly what the problem was though.

He’s not bad. He’s good to my daughter but wouldn’t be my first pick if I had a choice.

He’s not the only person that she’s gotten like this with. My youngest daughters ex boyfriend triggered the same behavior.
Perhaps he picks up on your fatherly suspicions?

I got my Dvarw with the dinner lady rebuilt with a 3mm 316 mtl Clapton wire and it’s much better. No more popping and flavor is good. I sure wasted a lot of cotton trying to wick it. Just couldn’t get the right amount in and it took me two tries.
    Exocet method??

I love how everyone seems to be coming over to the Dvarw Side.

For some reason I was just having a hard time figuring out how much I needed so it was good and tight in the coil. I’d thin it out then it was too loose. Then had to start over.
It needs to be snug...but not tight. It should pull easily from side to side. If you're using the Exocet wicking method then then spread the cotton out once juiced to make sure you've got no gaps!!

I had a .57 clapton. Now it’s got a 0.7 same. I’ll try that in a few. The whole tank was hot to the touch, though. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen, especially at such a low wattage.
The coil should be just a touch above post level and if you're using the OG....eg. not the FL be careful that the legs are inserted properly under the grub screws. If not you can get a hot leg....nice and tight grub screws too. I use 0.5-0.8 Clapton's too and never had a problem. It's definitely something you're doing

It is a little better today (but still not good) I saw a satellite video today (it was really depressing... day view was entire valley filled with smoke, night view you could actually see the fires... from space!) Mom is coughing and having issues because of this (I said I would just talk DIY but thought I should mention that)
Ffp2 mask is the way to go!!

That's what I was thinking. It might've been cracked or otherwise damaged during installation at the factory, during shipment, etc. I can't think of anything else that might cause your whole tank to become hot.
Except that the battery would get pretty hot pretty quickly too...hard short!!
