I actually bought some juice yesterday. First time in over a year. Not that I don't like my recipes, this is something I want to maybe clone, if I can. Dinner Lady blackberry crumble. I've looked at some clone recipies online already and its certainly doable. It has the same background notes as their lemon tart, which I feel may be the difficult part to duplicate. But I like a challenge.
    Sounds tasty. Good luck :)

I really liked Dinner Lady Blackberry Crumble although not as much as the lemon tart. Please share a clone recipe if you find a good one :)

Morning, all, and happy Saturday :)

More no rain and less cooling here... still. The old record of consecutive days of no measurable rain (at the official site) is getting smaller in the mirror every day.

That's a shame and of course when you're used to plenty of rain the plants don't root too deeply looking for water so in a dry spell it makes things suffer very quickly!! :)

Yup. Heck, even the firs don't bother with tap roots up here. We do try to really soak the shrubs to encourage deeper roots, but this year's been exceptionally bad.

    No kidding. Who needs coffee.

I have no idea what caused it either. The coil was not old, the wick was only a couple days old too.

After cleaning and installing a new coil in my abyss last night, I found it with the tank empty this morning. It leaked the whole tank out and got two other mods wet on the bottom. I have no idea why. I think it was because it was Friday the 13th.

I got the lemon tart one shot and love it. I was thinking about trying the blackberry. It sounds good. I’ve only seen the one shots at chefs and nomnomz.

Read a story yesterday about a mobile phone exploding. It occurred to me that I hadn't heard any stories lately about exploding vapes. Just did some googling and didn't see any recent reports. Maybe the word got out about carrying loose batteries in a pocket. Maybe mechs are less common among new vapers. Or maybe exploding vapes just aren't getting reported because they have better bull like EVALI and the teen vape epidemic to attack us with these days.

    Happy Saturday folks.

I got up early this morning and took my youngest spawn to Walmart for school supplies. Is it normal for a 52 year old man to get sensory overload while looking at school supplies? I am so glad we went early though, the place was practically empty when we got there and full as we walked out.

It's just her and I in the house this week. I think I am going to make some smothered pork chops and mash potatoes later for dinner.

Every once in a while I get a winner.
    Bourbon mix:
    Bourbon-fw-2%
    Bavarian cream-fw-1.5%
    Brown sugar-tfa-.25%
    Cinnamon Danish swirl-cap-.25%

@dennism this looks good... I have all the ingredients too.:)

I think early morning is the best time to go to WalMart or any store really. BTW your dinner sounds good. Dd and son are away so SIL and I are having tenderloin steak and salad. He just went to get the steak and I made the salad.

What are you random folks up to today?
Nearly 100f here today so hunkered down staying cool. We've got the heat until Tuesday and then it's going to improve.

I don't know where the day goes... haven't done my intended mixing so I'll do it tomorrow. Don't know why really as it doesn't actually take that long once you get motivated.

Steak sounds good...and the shrimp salad too :)

I'll probably be marching around with the lawn mower here in a few, just waiting for the grass to dry. Didn't get to it last weekend because of the rain. Looks like more rain will be instore throughout the weekend with Tropical Storm Fred.

@charlie1465 you guys are really getting cooked over there.
