Amarreto is a very strong bitter almond taste so best used with something sweet added as in the Amarreto biscuits from Italy...but I know you don't do sweet.

I didn't get any bitter out of it but just did not like the taste at all. Maybe an acquired taste?

While you’re in the “fixing mode”, I’m trying a tester mix (all MF) of mint, vanilla and white chocolate. It tastes just like the filling of a york peppermint patty, just not as sweet. I’m thinking of adding dark chocolate. How likely is the chocolate to overwhelm the other flavors? I’m trying to figure out how to balance it.

Do you have the VT Dark chocolate. It's very authentic. I would use very little.

I never got into the MF flavors. I really couldn't see myself using them. I bought 5-6 and outside of a test mix, I haven't used them.

Oh, and the fda approved the booster vaccine (3rd vaccine) for those who are immune compromised. I'm going to check and see if this lab (lab corp) will do this test for me.

Good idea. I can't speak about the MF but the VT is authentic dark. I'm not a fan of dark chocolate but I know well what it tastes like.

Yes I'm off for my third Pfizer injection on Thursday. I'm immunocompromised so it pretty important for me. I don't think it's the specific Delta variant shot that they're working on but hey any extra antibodies are welcome

If you really want it darker something like shoe polish might work as long as it doesn't come off on your hands.

Or just oil it.
