Random DIY mixing and More

I generally refuse to mix any recipe over 6 flavors but I wrote a custard recipe with 8 flavors. I tried to pair it down but couldn’t. It’s a raspberry custard very loosely based on Charlie’s. Less custard and more fruit. I did get it mixed anyway.

Now I need to figure out the fruit for two vanilla milkshakes and a strawberry ice cream cone. For tomorrow’s mixing.

Me too. If it does I’ll have to mix a larger bottle. 8 flavors is a pain.

I actually mixed more than I intended to today. Still several for tomorrow but I need to write the recipes. Most are using mixed bases so pretty easy.

I liked Charlie’s mix also but for me it’s a bit heavy on the custard and light on the fruit.

I haven't used it a ton but when I did I used 1-2 drops per 10ml.

I used 4 drops in 30ml.

Yes, but it’s Raspberry and Chocolate. It’s a good idea to drop the crumble to .5. Hope you like.

Ditto! There's a rumor that I'm supposed to be working. Fortunately, it's close to days end.

I would think that would be pretty close depending on how up front you want the strawberry.

After the two slow months I had earlier this year I'm very happy to be busy. Right now it's actually just the right kind of busy where I have a backlog but it's not too far out so the customers don't get upset. However, it seems like a lot of new work comes in on the end of the month so I'm kind of expecting a surge soon.

I’m not sure If I have enough croissant base for two mixes. If I do it’s gonna be close.

It seems that I may have poisoned myself with week killer (weed n feed fertilizer) I wore garden gloves and broke up "clumps", took the gloves off then back on again to do the blower. Then the same routine again for the front lawn. It got on my hands and we had pizza and chicken wings for dinner... licked my fingers (should have washed my hands) Woke up with ........ at 3 am. Looked up the weed killer (2 4-D) and sure enough it said nausea, vomiting and what I mentioned. I'm OK now. I threw the gloves in the trash. Next time I'll wear dispoable gloves and wash my hands after.
