Hmmm, I wonder if it's some kind of caramel rum sauce, homemade. Let's just hope he washed his hands before he made it. Please update us on what it is when you get it, curious if it's some kind of spirit. Even at my advanced age I still partake on Fridays nights.

Maybe it’s booze. A caramel rum could be interesting.

It is alcohol.
He went to the Bahamas last week and said he had a really great time - I called him a turd
He asked me if I like rum and said he'd bring the caramel rum for me.

I can't wait to surprise him with his new vape gear !!

Hi folks! I'm home and I'm alive! I've got two incisions, one on my chest and one on my lower neck, both on the left side. They used transparent dressings, so I can actually see the incisions, and I do look like I've been in a knife fight. This was a rougher surgery than I've ever had, but I think it's mainly because I'm older. My voice is hoarse, which is a side effect of messing with the vagal nerve. It'll go away, unless I'm in the active treatment arm of the study. If so, then I might have intermittent hoarseness (30 seconds every 5 minutes) indefinitely. I can turn that off if I need to do some important talking. I don't mention singing, because my singing voice is horrible to begin with. I'm in very little pain, and I have pain pills. I go back to see the surgeon in a week and the psychiatrist in two weeks to activate (?perhaps) the device. I see my regular psychiatrist in about 3 weeks.

Glad you're home !

Hope everyone is okay in here! I doused in homemade mosquito killer/repellent and picked some tomato's and squash-then hurried inside. Still thousands of the beasties. The whole area is full of mosquito's. I'm hoping the males die off (the lifespan is 10 days) and the females will be without mates. :) I did see a few dragon flies buzzing around. I have a ton of projects to do but I'm held hostage. I feel crappy anyway. I'll do another covid test this Sat at work.
Covid is at work so I'm a touch paranoid.
    Hoping you can stay safe.

It all sounds like magic/science fiction to me. I hope it does everything you want it to do.

He went to the Bahamas last week and said he had a really great time - I called him a turd

Lucky him, I have not been back to the Bahamas since my ex and I divorced. She was Bahamian. They have a drink they call Sky Juice and it's divine.
    • 2 oz. Pale Rum
    • 1 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk
    • 6 oz. Coconut Water
Some make it with gin, but I always preferred it with rum. Nice and refreshing on a hot day.

Just mixed 400mL of my favorite flavorah ry4. I need to mix for family but can't do it with the current fatigue I'm having. Going to splurge and eat some fake ice cream called "Brave Robot". I obtained it for free at Kroger/pick n save. I never heard of animal free ice cream. You guys know I'm a low carber and eat mostly meat. This should be interesting.

It does, but so do the the other psych treatments like electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic therapy. Yet those have been shown to work. The VNS is FDA approved too, but Medicare wants more data before they will agree to cover it, hence this particular study. I don't mind being a Guinea pig if it helps me and also others.

It was good. However, its 5.99 a pint and way out of my price range for ice cream (real or fake). It did have the creamy feel to it and plus the sugar. I'm old skool and buy Edy's or kroger for less than 2.50 for 1.5 quarts. LOL Frugal all the way!
