Just the opposite here... the heat comes back tomorrow (and the smoke is back today) Was really nice all week though.
What I meant was that wasn't there a bunch of forums known as the Other which was unmoderated and populated by lunatics?

I have some growing in the garden right now... good thing you said that, going to pull it out monday. I also have sage but going to let it stay and see how long it survives.

My basil and rosemary are still hanging in there. Usually the basil has bolted and gone to seed by now. My garden looks quite pitiful right now. Another couple of weeks and I can put in Fall tomatoes thoughActually, the basil in my "garden" was yellow. But, it was late in the week and covid.
Fall tomatoes? My uncle built this huge greenhouse (literally and extension of the house) He grew tomatoes year round (in 5 gal buckets hanging by pulleys/ropes) Our garden didn't do well this year... we already pulled everything but the few herbs I mentioned. I'm going to miss the homegrown tomatoes.
Plants of basil and rosemary at Publix often beats packaged down here. Tomatos are another story.

Yea - Even though some "new" stuff keeps popping up, doing a little better everyday . . . Next 2 weeks a few test and a couple of Dr's visits will tell more . . . Until then, I did learn an important lesson tonight - that I shouldn't really extend myself - only cook simple things (eggs, burgers, etc.) and your microwave is your friend

A crockpot/slowcooker can be your second best friend
I use mine a lot, use a crockpot liner for super easy cleanup. My crockpot and rice cooker are my two best kitchen friends but I have a casual thing with the microwave A crockpot/slowcooker can be your second best friend
So agree with you and thanks for the suggestion . . . BTW: Actually got and had "Air Fryer" and " Instapot" when everyone was talking about them here, however they sat unused for weeks at a time . . . So, after a year of them sitting there not really being used - I passed them on to a family that could really use them . . . Just Sayin. .

Second crop. Spring tomatoes (planted usually around 2/14-3/1) are done by the first of July. It’s too hot at night for flowers to set. On occasion, I’ve still been getting tomatoes at Christmas from the garden. Summer not much grows here except okra. Usually rosemary is my only herb. Parsley, cilantro, etc are spring crops
