Echoes is still my all time favourite...you can hear the sound of the wish you were here coming into its own. The beginning of shine on you crazy diamond still sends shivers up my back every time though :)

Oh... one last thing. I found most custards too much but have found I really like bavarian cream (which is really just a light custard) I don't hear it mentioned much... I suspect people think of it more like a donut filling (which here in the US is more like pudding) Am I mistaken? I also find it is nice to add to ice cream to make it richer. I got burned out on strong custards because of vapetasia Killer Kustard (which is ironic... my first experience with DIY was I ordered a bunch of fruit flavors to add to KK which was fun but then realized I needed to jump in and learn how to really mix stuff)
I do a simple recipe with SSA raspberry syrup, JF yellow cake and WF bavarian cream and love it. I am considering also using VT pudding base in that.
If your a BC fan then try out the TPA BC DX. Im not a fan of most of the DX line but this one is really good. I like it better than the regular one

    Good morning mixers. We had a good time last night taking our daughters to dinner for the youngest daughters bday and met some friends there to join us. My youngest daughter had her first legal drink.

    You're not far off. The mixed drink she picked had three kinds of hard liquor in it. I don't remember which ones but looked at the drink menu after she ordered it.

    I'm finally getting around to testing my little FA Jacote Plum mix I put together back in July. I have a few mixes I never got around to testing before I left town. :facepalm:

    Jacote plum doesn't taste like any other plum flavor I've had. And it doesn't taste like a plum we normally find at the grocery store in the USA. It is plum like but FA Jacote plum has something else going on. Something approaching a very light touch of citrus. I'm also getting a slight ripe mango note mixed in with the plum too. It has a very refreshing, and clean, aftertaste.

    It's a really good flavor. I need to make up a recipe for Jacote plum. Perhaps something with WF Island Mango or VTA Passion Fruit and Mango. Maybe with my croissant base or ice cream base.
    I agree the plum isn't really a plum.

    Anyone ever do much with almond flavorings?
    Right now I'm vaping on an almond raspberry poundcake thing I willed into being. Not bad at all, going to change it up and work on the mix a few times.
    Main flavoring is FLV Poundcake, turns out I had a little fluffy white cake WF, CAP yellow cake, Almond FA and Toasted Almond TFA, and Raspberry INW. Almost forgot I used LA CC Icing as well.
    I want to find a nice mix of the cakes, eliminating the Yellow Cake. Also fine tune the almond mix.
    I have been using Raspberry INW in a lot of mixes lately, my go to fruit apparently. It has just been tasting nice and bright and juicy.

    My bcf order did arrive yesterday but I had no time to do any mixing with the bday stuff going on. Maybe tonight. I bought a couple flavors specifically for two recipes I want to mix from ATF.

    I like FA Almond as well as FLV Pound Cake and INW Raspberry. Not a big fan of yellow cakes . I normally use FW White Cake.

    I've got a couple new flavors coming from BCF myself.
    This weekend I'm going to make another stab at apple pie with a flakey buttery crust, using new to me Croissant VT and WF.
    I ordered Donut CNV just to try out too, impulse buy.
    I mixed your Chocolate Joe recipe quite awhile back. I'm not a big fan of FA Espresso so I never remixed. More recently I did remix but I used FA Cappucino which I like. I haven't tried the mix yet but I'm pretty sure I will like it.

    That Espresso is some strong stuff. I'll have to give FA Cappuccino a shot next order, it's been a little while since I've mixed a coffee. Hazelnut is another flavor I've gotten away from and miss.
    There are just SO MANY flavors :lol::lol::w00t:

    I saw mention of a croissant base recently, may I ask what it was a base for?
    The popular Croissant base is SMT's creation. It's in Zazies blog. It's just a base for a croissant mix.
