@FranC, I finally remembered to check out the wire. I can report that my fingers can perceive the 26 gauge much better than they do 28 gauge. Should make wrapping and installing coils much easier.

What size coil did you use with the 26 ga wire? Did you notice the slower ramp up?

Happy Saturday, all.

Plans... well, after watering, probably the annual pm (preventive maintenance, clean and inspect, no biggie) on the furnace. Nights have been getting down to where we might want to use it. Been a while.

    Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I’m cleaning some tanks and going through the pile of review samples that I need to clean out to make room for new stuff. I got the Thelema Quest set up and it does go to 200 watts but I’ll never try it there.

    What size coil did you use with the 26 ga wire? Did you notice the slower ramp up?
    Well, I was unsuccessful with the 26 gauge. However I used to use it all the time and never really noticed the slower ramp up.
