Dear @Zazie, I am really sorry to bring this to your attention after all the work you did on fixing your blog.

I was trying to look up my Caramel and butterscotch: part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4 (recipes), part 5 reccipes and info for @uthinkofsomething and none of those links point to the correct pages. Part 1 is off by 2 pages, same problem we saw last time. I didn't look to see how far off parts 2-5 are, but they don't go where they should either.

I didn't check any other recipes, yet, but I will... after I get over the shock. :(

I'm sorry Zaz.

I hope you’re doing better today. I’m trying the strawberry custard recipe. There’s something off in it. I keep getting this odd taste like the peel of a fruit or something. I simply love the raspberry one so thought I’d like this one too. I might try a different strawberry.
Try lemon Sicily instead of the lime....sorry you didn't like it :)

If you wanted a straight Butterscotch eliquid what would you put together?
I have FW and TFA Butterscotch, Butterscotch Ripple..
Here are my Creamy Butterscotch (and an alternate version) from @Zazie's blog. Those links are working correctly. Those should give you an idea of where to start.

I don't have TFA Butterscotch anymore so I wouldn't know it's strength and I don't recall what % I used it at. If using that I would start low, you can always add more if desired.

I am always tweaking my butterscotch and caramel mixes. Honestly, I must have at least 20 variations by now. I like them all but also enjoy trying to improve them. Every time I get a new caramel or butterscotch I try subbing it in my mixes to test. Pretty sure the alternate version (above) is one of the first ones.

In my experience you need to use multiple butterscotch and/or caramel flavors to create a convincing butterscotch or caramel flavor. A small amount of caramel will enhance any butterscotch and vice-versa.

My current butterscotch version is tasty. It's not in Zazie's blog yet.

FW Butterscotch Ripple 3.7%
FA Butterscotch 2%
FW Natural Butterscotch 0.75%
FA Caramel 1.5%
FA Whipped Cream 1%
SSA Madagascar Vanilla 2%

Also have a version of the above with 1% FA Vanilla Cookie for a base. I also made a version of that one using 1% WF Vanilla Cream Extra (subbed for FA Whipped Cream). I like both. FA Cookie subbed for vanilla cookie is really good too.

I usually steep for 3-4 weeks. Longer steep, the better it will be. :)

ETA: Also, using FA Cookie 1.25% and FA Vanilla Cookie 0.5% is a good cookie base. I have a butterscotch mix with that too.

    Somewhere between here and there
Try lemon Sicily instead of the lime....sorry you didn't like it :)

I'll give that a try. Unfortunately I mixed 40ml instead of doing my usual 10ml sample on new recipes. I think I'm just going to have to dump it.

@Zazie, I randomly tried links for each section. Each worked. Phew, great news. It looks like only my caramel plus parts 1-5 are hosed. It's in the Tips and Whatnot section.

I looked through my backup text files I saved from when we worked on the links to see if it's in there. I didn't do the Tips and Whatnot so I don't have that section.

Can you check your backups and see if they are in any of those? If not let me know and I will try to find the correct ones. Thank you! :)

Maybe I just screwed up when I input all the fixes you and the other wonderful helpers sent me. I'll check later. I'm mixing today, so I want to get that done first.

Yes fine....much better thanks. Got to go and do an online grocery order....but hey that's better than going. I refuse to run the gauntlet of the Delta debacle :D
I mostly go grocery shopping in the off hours. That way I don't run into any kind of crowds. Most of the grocery stores around here are open 24 hours. In the super early mornings there is rarely more than a handful of people shopping in a warehouse sized store. Plenty of distance between people and I always mask up. I don't like the idea of a stranger picking out my produce and whatnots. I'm pretty fussy with my fruits and veggies.
