3. How much of those small bottles of flavors you get from say Bull City do you need {approximately} ?

Your posts seem to indicate that once you get your new base mixed, that you're planning on trying to make the whole amount at once...or at least 1/2 of it...into the Strawberry Waterfelon you like. Otherwise, you wouldn't be needing larger bottles of flavorings. IMO, that's very risky.

Most people usually make only 10mL or 15mL of a new recipe at first...to see if they even like it. You can "tweak" those small amounts to get it to your liking...while noting the changes you make to get there. It may even involve trying different Strawberry and Watermelon flavorings in those sample mixes. Then...use the info. on the changes you made to the original recipe, to make larger batches when you want them.

If I misread or misunderstood what you posted though, I apologize.

Sometimes sandwiches are all I have time for at dinner... just been super busy and had to make myself find the time to mix the other day or I'd be out of my favs. A nap would be nice......take one for me please.....

Haha... yes I will take a nap for you. Sandwiches are a good healthy meal. So, I took out the bread for a sandwich, hesitated and thought "nope too much work, I must keep my lazy themed day going". Ordered lasagna from a Sicilian place that's been around for decades. They deliver! I haven't had lasagna in a long time. Yummy, it was sooooo good! I have 1/2 left for tomorrow.

Also, depending on what strawberry and watermelon flavors are used and how much is vaped per day there will likely be some flavor fade. 500mls or a liter is a lot of juice to make for one recipe. Although maybe not, if someone vapes say 30mls, or more, per day.

500mls or a liter of flavorless, sure. I like making my bases (pg/vg/nic) and then taking 5, 10, 15, 30 mls, or whatever I need, and then adding flavors for a mix. It's more manageable, and to me, makes more sense.

I’ve made the mistake multiple times of mixing too much of one recipe and then get tired of it. I never mix more than 10ml of a new recipe unless I’m certain I like it normally now. I can’t think of one I’d consider mixing a liter of due to flavor fade and burn out but I don’t vape as heavy as a lot of people.

The most I have ever mixed is 250ml. But those were when I was still working and had zero mixing time. Even then it was only 4 recipes. Now I do 10 ml for new mixes for testing. If I like them bigger bottle follows. Last mix I mixed 5 new ones I liked in 50 ml batches. I am vaping down the ones I currently have in rotation so the new recipes can replace them. It was time for a change.

I'm hopeful that I might get one or two, at least. I mostly mixed recipes using flavors I've tried before, so this round should be more successful than the last, back in February. Then, I rashly mixed three or four recipes that included cucumber without knowing if I liked vaping it (it smells great), and it turned out I don't. There were several other mixes I didn't much care for as well. Since I hate wasting juice, I have been doggedly vaping my way through everything, along with a ton of sfts, most of which weren't terrible but weren't all that good, either. It has been a dreary six months, vapewise.

When I do SFT's which is rare these days it's always 5mls. For me doing SFT's are kinda boring. What I learn from my notes is what I'm after. After I test one and make out my notes I typically try what's left with other mixes (bases) I know well. With a new recipe I make 10mls if I know the flavors well, otherwise 5mls.

Recipes I like a lot, all depends, but usually make 120mls each of the regulars. How much I make also depends a lot on other recipes I'm working on. Right now I have about 20 different mixes in various stages of steeping or ready to vape.

Some don't cut it, I try to fix those and they usually get vaped. I really don't like dumping mixes unless they are really, ummm crappy. And those certainly happen, but as long as I learn from them I'm ok.

I don't like FA Cucumber as a prominent flavor. Some folks like it a lot. I think it's an acquired taste. But when used in small amounts, a few drops to 0.5% (depending on other flavors), it will enhance other flavors like honeydew, lime or pineapple. I tried it with FA Black Tea for a cucumber tea, it was refreshing, but I did go light with it. Per my notes it will also work with creams, cream cheese and coconut milk - but with a light touch.

I am vaping my mango butternut smoothie experiment. I should have just used island mango wf by itself instead adding Malaysian mango ssa to the mix. It's not bad but that mango sure is strong..

We are just jelly that you are over there noshing on some lasagna.. Do they have those awesome garlic oil rolls too? I always eat too much of those and get sick in the middle of the night.

That's funny. My mother use to rinse the pasta in the sink... which just washes away all the starch so the sauce doesn't stick. I love my own, but it took me several years to give spaghetti a second chance.

Ask an Italian. Me. The sauce should stick to the pasta. Unless the sauce is bad. In which case toss the sauce and start over again.
