Yes, I hear from Anna and we are in the same time zone since her move. She's had her ups and downs as usual but now she's starting a new job and seems to like it so far.

Our Downtown area was worked over when the new stadium was put in, and they have continued to improve the area quite a bit. Nice place to visit now.
Many of the lower income areas of Toledo have been declining for 30 years, lots of empty houses, arson, crime. Lots of drugs. We know how to whoop it up. You can always find a party.
Had a couple great malls in the '90s and various movie theaters, most of those sank well before covid. Still some, but not like the old days.
Toledo is a strange mix of decline and rebirth. We'll be here.
Well, I did get my Raspberry Custard out to try today. Custards have never been my thing obviously but I had to try. Other than that I might do my laundry.
OMG. so do I. The VA didn't work out for her at all. Since then she's been on online jobs. This is her fourth and I'm really hoping she's happy with it.

I had a new issue when I pulled out of the garage this morning. Half of my tachometer lights were flickering. I'm just glad it's a company vehicle and I don't have to pay for the repairs. I dropped it off and the guy said he's going to need it overnight so he can work on it tomorrow too since there are a few different problems. I'll be driving our beater chevy pickup home tonight. Less than excited about it. They use it for small deliveries and have a plow for it for snow removal. Luckily I won't be driving it with the plow on.
Wishing her great success! It took me 4 years to find a job that I can tolerate. I had a patient try to harm me last night. LOL Demented old lady. All she did was scream and then attacked my nursing station when I was in a patients room. I hope they place her soon. Rehab is not equipped for being a dementia unit. We are strictly rehab-no long term care.
Going for my booster vaccine today. I hope it doesn't effect me much.
