Haven’t tried the Wild but not crazy about the Alpine.Wild (or Alpine) strawberry is nothing like a regular strawberry. We used to pick them (and bilberries, wild raspberries, blackberries, and rosehips) in the forest when we were kids. They are tiny (~1 cm long), rather sour, and even bitter when not quite ripe. The only way to eat them was to add sugar and whipped cream. I have no idea what they taste like as a flavoring, though.
