    Somewhere between here and there
Thanks Fran. Me too. I’m sure it’ll be busy. We finished wrapping last night and I got a review finished writing but didn’t have time to post it. I might be able to at lunch today if time permits. Four more left after that.

Glad you got one of the reviews out of the way before vacation.

Also glad you’re done wrapping. Maybe you can talk your wife into wrapping as you buy next year.

Thinking of remixing my empty bottle of cheesecake. It’s one of my favorites. Just have to locate the old recipe. Might be in the blog.

Have you tried this one yet ?
Cheesecake Graham Cracker Crust (TFA) 4%, New York Cheesecake (CAP) 2%, Vanilla Swirl (TFA) 2%, Marshmallow (TFA) 1%. Add whatever flavor (Strawberry, Blueberry< Chocolate, etc.) you may like.
But then again, you probably already have a favorite recipe....

I do have a favorite recipe which is in Zazie’s blog. I’ve been mixing cheesecakes for years. I’m a cheesecake snob but still willing to try the other cheesecake flavors. I just don’t consider them real cheesecake……LOL.

I won't eat cheesecake. Never liked the taste of it.
But every once in a while, I will mix up a cheesecake e-liquid.

I saw a documentary on Docurama about modern day Viking fighters. They had an international fight fest, think it was in Norway. Included teams from the US and a bunch of other countries. They have teams of dozens on each side using authentic Viking armour and shields and weapons and go to battle. Apart from not being allowed to take face hits and the swords and so forth not being sharp they seemed to be fighting for real. Judges wander around declaring people dead who then have to lie down on the ground until the battle is over, and they carry off anyone who gets injured. Lots of injuries. It all took place in a Viking fort they had built, they ate and drank what they figure the original Vikings ate and drank. Those guys are tough for sure.
My son would love that considering he’s all about Vikings and loves watching MMA (I think that’s what it’s called). Personally, I think two men duking it out and causing permanent damage to each other is stupid. But he loves it. I’ll tell him about this docurama.

I agree with your way of thinking….LOL.

    Good morning Fran/everyone

All this talk about air fryers has peaked my interest. Do they allow you to fry or cook anything that you would normally fry without fat??

I'm going to brave the shops today but I'm seriously considering chickening out.... everyone here seems to know at least about five to six people who have got the dreaded!! I'm not keen...always a risk and I really don't want to go anywhere crowded

I'm going to mix up a few new recipes today and a couple of favourites. I've got some time and the office is going to be unoccupied today. It's always a problem getting in there to mix as V works from home.

I'll try and check in later. Have a good day everyone
Yes, we use the air fryer without any fat, although I’ve read fat can be used in them if needed. A spray oil would work. We’ve made frozen fries and onion rings, and my son made frozen chicken patties and taquitos. It cooks things fast too. Since I’m about to start the dreaded “d” thing (diet) I want to make some vegetables in it.

I didn’t like it at first as I’m a simple cook and resist change, but my son can use it safely for when I’m gone so I’m warming up to it. No grease to dispose of and I’m sure it’s healthier. I made the best onion rings I’ve ever eaten, crispy without that oil aftertaste on the roof of my mouth. It was a “YouTube influencers made me buy it” kind of thing but we like ours and I got it on major sale on Black Friday.

The young one here loves his French fries and chicken from the air fryer.

@charlie1465 I love the air fryer. I sometimes drizzle a bit of olive oil and garlic on either fresh or frozen potatoes, broccoli, carrots or other veggies. I even make biscuits or toast in it. Since I don't have a stove in my basement apt., it is a lifesaver. I do have a little toaster oven but rarely use it since I discovered I can cook just about anything in the AF.
