Early shower isn’t happening. SIL is running the dishwasher and I have no desire for a cold shower.

So far covid has not been nearlr as hard on her as on me. I think is because she has 24/7 professional medical care.

Sounds like everyone had a good Christmas....I gleaned this from the 350 posts I've just caught up on We had our usual quiet one but it was nice. UK tradition with Christmas day and Boxing day....so we've just been relaxing.

Anyway I hope everyone had a peaceful and drama free Christmas

I want to see it but am not going to a movie theater. I saw an article the other day that said they are one of the top places to spread the virus.

Good morning random folks Have you any plans today?

Morin' . . . Well the usual Morning & Monday ritual to start off with . . . Then since I didn't listen to myself yesterday - Went to Home Goods and purchased a Cuisinart Classic Analon Non-stick Frying Pan . . . I can't procrastinate any longer. Gonna have to spend the afternoon/evening at my tablet trying to get the over due review done (not easy on a tablet - laptop not working again) . . . We'll see . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Morning all

I've decided that my spéculoos creamy cake needs a try with a tad more spéculoos. I did mix it a few weeks before I went away so it did have a long steep. First time using it so maybe it fades....I don't think so though. I may try what I said in my original post. Boosting the spéculoos and dropping the pudding base a tad.

Just to add it's really worth the cinnamon haters giving it a try. It's nothing like adding CDS or other cinnamon's although the spéculoos biscuits do have cinnamon in them

ETA. Unless you don't like cinnamon in RL cooking/baking at all of course

Dishwasher finally shut off and I got my hot shower. Quite nice on a cold gloomy day. I’ve got my 2nd cup of Christmas cocoa also.

I put the abyss away for a bit. I don’t have the patience for that thing. Big battery went in my Foxy with a Dvarw. istick got retired for now.
