Morin' . . . Well the usual Morning & Monday ritual to start off with . . . Then since I didn't listen to myself yesterday - Went to Home Goods and purchased a Cuisinart Classic Analon Non-stick Frying Pan  . . . I can't procrastinate any longer. Gonna have to spend the afternoon/evening at my tablet trying to get the over due review done (not easy on a tablet - laptop not working again) . . . We'll see . . . Just Sayin' . . .

    .

Which one is overdue? I just got the Kroma 217 a couple days ago.

If I can muster any energy I want to get one of the big batteries in the abyss.

I was saving my new blue abyss for vacation but then all these review samples landed so not really the time to set up yet another mod.

I did go ahead and order an Apple Watch last night. To replace my garmin that isn’t working right it would have been 2/3 the cost of the Watch. I found an SE model on sale at Brandsmart online. I’ve wanted one for a while so am excited to get it. I was always afraid that I’d ruin it at work but am going to get some snap on protectors for it while at work.

I put the abyss away for a bit. I don’t have the patience for that thing. Big battery went in my Foxy with a Dvarw. istick got retired for now.

Shouldn’t be hard to change to the 21700. Just remove the battery tube, snap on the cover and use the spare top cap.

    Merry Monday, mixers.

Snow finally made it, starting about noon yesterday and not stopping before snooze time. High temp was, uhm, 31 at 11 am, then started going down. 20 was the overnight low, heading for, er, 26?? Repeat for the next 3 or 4 days, then (maybe!) 35 on Wednesday before dropping again. Rare that we get those kinds of temps before mid-late January, early Feb.

Only about 5 - 6" here, points north (and higher up) got lots more, and it's not going to go anywhere for at least a week.

I have a touch of arthritis in my left leg and if I run on the treadmill at least a couple times a week then my legs feel better. We’ve been eating a lot of quick junk meals the last few weeks so need to change that. I’m not liking that my midsection is getting bigger.

Yeah, "'tis the season". From T-day to New Years, a time of expansion. Too many Christmas cookies.

And just how you replace the dang battery tube?

You don’t replace it. Remove it then there’s a cover that snaps over to protect the battery on the outside. I did it on my black one.

    .

Ok, it’s not that overdue. I think I posted mine a couple weeks ago.

And just how you replace the dang battery tube?

Twist the tube while pulling up on it with a finger inside and it should pull right out. It’s just held in with o rings I think.

Yeah, I get that but nothing on this thing is easy. If the battery tube is supposed to slide out…..it doesn’t.

Like I just said, twist it some to loosen it then pull it up and out

I just did it on my blue one to try. It was tight but came out with just a little effort.

Ok, I finally got the dang tube out. Does the battery go in up or down. I don’t want to do this twice.

If I had more strength in my hands I’m sure the abyss wouldn’t give me such a hard time. But anyway, changed the coil in the tank and the abyss rides again.

I assume you already figured out how to put the battery in? My wife left a list on the counter so I picked something I liked to do which is make banana bread. Yummy treat and bonus points for helping with the list.

    Yes, I did.

Banana bread sounds good. How long is your list?
