I had to work. Covid is thick where I work and 5 employee's are infected with it One patient has it as well. I made them give me a covid test today. It's the quickies but negative. I really don't believe them but I'll wait it out.
Fingers crossed. I don't trust the lateral flow tests either.... they're not good if you're asymptomatic....good chance of a false negative!
On the other hand my wife's cousin was using them for quarantine release and he kept testing positive until a doc told him that he would do because of his antibodies....bring back the PCR!!

My youngest daughter went to work Friday and was told five residents at the retirement facility had Covid. I’m really nervous for her. Good luck to you.
First day back to work and woke up an hour before my alarm. I think I’m going to be tired later. First day back is catch up anyway so don’t expect to get much done anyway.

Good Morning Mixers. Heavy rains last night and into the morning. Yard is a swamp as that Carolina clay is saturated. Natasha not happy, but she does go out to do her business, then comes in to be toweled off.
I recently purchased two small space heaters called Alpha Heaters. Swedish made, and highly recommended by Consumer Reports and Tech Times. Very small, they just plug into and hang out of the wall socket, so you have to put the in an open area. But they do pump out a good little bit of heat. I've got them going as the temperatures drop today, save the propane central heat for tonight. I set up one in the front hallway, and the other in the master bedroom. Even with 25+ mph winds and temps in the 40's, these little gems are keeping us at 70ºF inside.

Seems the weather guessers guessed right, sort of. Predicted heavy rain did come in, just a few hours later than expected. Most of the snow around our place is gone. For now. Jan and Feb are usually when we get most of our snow... and temps here did stay over freezing, almost back up to "normal", or what used to be normal.
