Good morning. I got quite a bit of new work in yesterday so I’m looking forward to being busy again. It should be enough to last at least into next week.

    See them tumbling down
Pledging their love to the ground
Lonely but free I'll be found
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds…

    Thought I recognized that...

    Morning, all.

    It's morning. Where is everybody?

Uh, your post time stamped 0347 here. I was in bed :)

Rain continues, as does the too warm temp. Anyone have plans for an ark?

I've been having a problem with my new printer at work. About 4-5 times I've come into work in the morning and there are pages printed despite my computer being off but the printer is on. Most times it is gibberish but yesterday morning I came in and there were about ten pages printed. Then this morning I came in and there was some code printed on two pages. I spent about an hour this morning with HP online doing a remote desktop on my computer. They removed the printer, reset it and reinstalled it. We'll see if that does any good.
Your HP printer possibly did an 'automatic' sw update. It may have gotten hosed. HP has auto update enabled by default on most of their higher end printers.

Simple solution: Turn off auto updates for the printer via the HP sw utility or the web interface.

Generally, there is no need for further updates (depending) if everyone in your shop is able to print.

I'm no fan of auto updates on any device. Much prefer other folks install the 'latest and greatest' sw first. Once I know a vendors update is solid then I install. Saves unnecessary troubleshooting time.

Over the years there have been many instances of 'all' vendors prematurely releasing a sw update that wasn't ready for prime time.
