It’s funny that first pic didn’t show up on my computer.

All three showed up for me.

I never have but I’m tempted. I would prefer to pick out my own meats though.

When the pandemic started and I was buying for us and my parents I made my son go with me. I’m now spoiled. I had to go to Walmart by myself after work. At the self checkout all the bags were stuck. I had to separate each one to open them. Slowed me down big time and I had a lot of stuff. When he is with me we can bag and checkout in record time. He scans and I bag. We are a great team. We fly through it.

That is how I was for the longest time. I wanted to visually see the items. I have had good stuff from Wally's via delivery and like I said, if anything is ever sub par, I get a refund.

Not sure what the Bakewell is supposed to be (so that one is a maybe). The photo has what looks like a crust with a chocolate cake inside and then almonds on top. IRL I would eat a piece if it was in front of me.

No chocolate.

I got my bcf order today. They gave me 30 mls of FA Monsoon (dark spicy tobacco) for free and a sticker. That’s a big freebie! My smell is coming back but not my taste so I guess I’ll try these in a few days.

I still don't get why I have never gotten even a 10ml freebie with all the orders I have placed there.

Easternmost town in the US of A. Pop. 1,237. Next nearest grocery store is a forty-minute drive away.

There is now a dollar store in town, which has some groceries as well, but the inventory is more along the lines of a convenience store's. I have zero doubt that it does not deliver, either.

It makes no difference to me. I get most of my food from a couple of buying co-ops and it is delivered to my door. My milk (from a local farm) is dropped off weekly by a charitable neighbor. When I need celery (about the only thing I can only buy at the grocery store), my sister picks it up for me. And twice a year, when I get my teeth cleaned, I grocery shop in person.

I've got it made.

The closest (and my favorite) is two blocks away. Small locally owned. When I was doing pickup, the asst manager pulled the orders. She would call while she was getting it together, give me options, tell me sale items she thought I would like. Truly personal service. Don’t see that much anymore, especially in the “big city”

I don’t get them every time but I’ve gotten several freebie bottles. The only thing I do is be sure to put a note to them like thanks for the sale or you are awesome or thanks or something like that. Not sure that’s why I get freebies though. Maybe it’s the gazillion dollars I spend there…

Speaking of groceries, my son started helping me do dishes every evening. I ran my dishwasher only once since May 2021 when I started back to work and I love it. I start out with all the dishes ready in the evenings when I cook dinner. I’ve been cookin’ up a storm lately and trying new things. I bought pans tonight to make my own bread. Son is loving it and I actually enjoy cooking now that he helps me clean up.
