Keep warm, Uncle.
One of the “big” cities by the lake is that way. Russel Mills had all their plants there from fabric to clothing to linens. They closed ten years ago about, and the town is slowly withering away. There was a pharmacy downtown that had a lunch counter we went to every trip in… best chicken salad and fizzy limeade around. Super popular, so I was surprised they couldn’t make it. Soooo miss itThe collapse of the herring fishery killed the town. There used to be a couple dozen sardine-packing plants here. Now there are none (the last one--right next door to me--closed in 2001). The town was already depressed then, but things go worse quickly after that.
Precious baby!I said I would post some more recent photos of Murphy,. I did not get any really good one but you can see he is an old geezer like me
You have to show us a picture from your window (with the fluffs safe inside of course). That’s more snow than I can picturenot my little Yorkies lol! At least not this much!

I hear you and dearly miss all the old places like that! The folks who worked in many of those places knew customers by name. And people were, ummm, friendly. Remember Woolworths? In 60s they had the best soda fountains. One of the “big” cities by the lake is that way. Russel Mills had all their plants there from fabric to clothing to linens. We got 4-5 inches. They got hit much harder over by the coast.Everyone must be sleeping in today. Currently there's only 16 members online.
Although, out east folks are still cleaning up from all the snow. I saw that many are without power. With the sub zero temps hopefully they get that restored soon.
Seems my vaping area is always a mess but it is much better than it used to be. 2 is a much better time for a football game. Maybe you can watch the whole thing.Good morning. Headed for low 40’s today. The Chiefs play at 2 today. I’ve got a few things to clean up today since my vaping area is a bit of a mess. I’m up a little late but not bad. One of my reviews was postponed so I’m going to work on a different one. I don’t know if I’ll get anything posted today or not.
