Two mixes done and I need to stop. Nowhere to put any more. Clear to work on my bunch of recipe ideas now.
I have question about Sourcemore.
My wife just decided she likes Solos so I had to replace all her Picos with Solos. Trouble is I like Solos too and I don't have many of them. Looked around on the internet and Soucemore is the only place that sells them without the tanks that I don't want. They go for $35, the next cheapest is MVS which is $44 with the tank. Sourcemore ships from a warehouse in Hong Kong.
I want to get 3 or 4 Solos. Should I bite the bullet and pay a little more for speed and security of delivery, or order from Source more and take the chance on waiting for months and maybe never get them.
I haven't been paying attention because I wasn't expecting to ever buy more gear. Think I heard there was a problem coming up with Hong Kong. Any thoughts?
I've always gone for the cheapest option with Chinese sites. I just pay and forget. Having said that there seems to be a delay with SM at the moment. I'm still waiting for my tracking to appear and it's been two weeks. I'd just go for the cheapest....it's likely you won't get it fast anyway unless they do a DHL option.
I've ordered 3 times from Sourcemore, in the past year. So far(knock on wood) not a problem. Each order took about 2 weeks.
I forgot about my plastic drawers again. I may get back to that after I write at least one recipe.
I forgot about that one. What do US suppliers do about shipping these days? I guess going with MVS would mean higher shipping costs on top of the high price.
If you want peace of mind go with MVS.
If you don't mind taking risks then go with SM.
FWIW, the boxes Solo's come in are not small. 4 Solo's boxed for shipping via SM might draw attention once it hits US shores.
And then there is the current state of completely whacked shipping from China to consider.
Have you figured in Sourcemore's shipping costs? They're pretty steep lately. You might end up paying just as much there as MVS once you factor in the shipping. I don't know what domestic shipping charges are like these days as I haven't ordered anything except from China in a while.

Dilemma is solved, I think. SM has only one red Solo 2 in stock. Everything else is pre-order. You might double check me on that, though.
The egoOne coils in drawer two went in drawer one. About everything else in drawer two went in the box. There are three drawers in this cabinet. The one under it is the biggest cabinet but has shallower drawers.
