Good morning Master Mixers! Just a quick hello. A lot still going on at home, but wanted to say hi and hope you are all well. I have my best friend of 51 years living with me under hospice care. It's a challenge, but I wouldn't want her anyplace else. We are still creating good memories when she is able. It's a journey no one wants, but we all take. Y'all take care! Keep on mixing!!

It's something that no one wants to deal with but you have a great attitude about it and your friend is lucky to have you there.

    Good time to stay in,

I'm not going anywhere. I walked to church yesterday evening and it was slippery. I used to have some snow boots, but lost them in one of my many moves. I really didn't need them in South Texas. I just ordered a pair off Amazon for a good price. I probably won't need them now that winter is about over, but I'm sure they will come in handy next winter.

Well so much for no snow until 11. I got off the highway this morning and there was snow on the ground. The further south I went the more there was. It's not going to get anywhere near above freezing today so hopefully we don't get too much.

I’ll hope for not much too.

    Mornin . . .

    AxJfYvM.png

Yes - Mornin', still Mornin' . . . Plans - Today it's physical therapist (home visit) this morning, then it's a trip to the Podiatrist (6 week visit) . . . Knee is acting up, not getting any better . . . But on a better note, I get a chance to run down some people when I go shopping later this afternoon (I use the motorized cart) . . . .it's Fun watching people move out of your way when they see you're not slowing down, especially the young "wipper snappers" (anyone really that feels entitled that they are the only ones in the store) oblivious to whatever is happening around them - head down using their phones . . . Even better when driving "Butch" in parking lots and through crosswalks . . . You should so see their faces and attitudes when you pull right up to them - then blow the car horn - priceless . . .

    Just Sayin' . . .

    Good morning folks,
I have started the day by rewicking a KFL'21, I am starting to approach with a successful solution, my Stick attys wickes fantastic now, and there is so much rayon down the channel that there are hardly any leaks.

I will get my Dicodes packed back to the factory for cleaning, or a new chip.

Good morning, Tor :) Leaks can really suck.

    Good morning Fran,
yes so absolutely, but now I have sharpened my wicking.
Rayon shrinks, I probably unfortunately had too thin tails for a while.

That's definitely not going on the list then....I was tortured with Dallas by my sister's when I was young......I've never recovered :D

In the 90's they showed reruns of Dallas at 10pm every night and I used to watch it before I went to bed. I had missed it when it first came out. Every commercial break was a long promotion of something called the Wonder Sponge. It was a dishwashing sponge, instead of being rectangular the long sides were concave. They were only available by calling this number right now. They had ordinary people gushing about how great it was, I would never have believed the different shape would make such a huge difference, it makes washing the dishes FUN.

Then I read an article about commercials. They said advertisers studied the demographics of people who watched each show and tailored the ads to match the viewers. I didn't want to be the type of person who called the number and bought wonder sponges so I stopped watching Dallas.
