Just got home. My oldest daughter is in town visiting her friends and dropped off her guitar and amplifier I got her for Xmas. She never had an acoustic amp before and couldn’t get any sound out of her guitar with the amp or plugged into her interface. Turned out her battery was low enough that it wasn’t working. I popped in a new 9 volt and it’s working. I didn’t think of the battery before since I never plug in my acoustic.

When I went to grab a remix for my Z-biip I had a choice of one of two. I grabbed the first one which turned out to be a lemon mix I can’t vape. Luckily the second mix is a chocolate.

Scammers are everywhere, unfortunately. They've hit the reptile groups I am in hard. I met a woman recently who paid $800 for a terrapin. The guy blocked her, so she decided to post about it in one of the groups. Another person acted sympathetic to her post, reeled her in, and scammed her for another $500.

By the time us old timers noticed it everything was said and done.

The guy blocked her, so she decided to post about it in one of the groups. Another person acted sympathetic to her post, reeled her in, and scammed her for another $500.

Scammers! Argh

On occasion I check the Junk folder for an email address I've had for many years. I check it to make sure there are no valid emails in it.

Anyways, my Junk folder is full of just about every possible scam a person can think of.

I always laugh when I see the email header for the African Elongation Secret.

Ouch! $1300 would be a tough one for me to handle and would scare me off internet sales forever. I could've handled the $90 loss if Amber hadn't refunded me, but I'm glad she did. I don't think she was a true scammer, or she wouldn't have bothered with the refund. I think she thought she found an opportunity to make some easy money and didn't realize that she had to follow through with it. Either that, or she got a better offer elsewhere. Either way, I'm just glad to be done with it.

If I mix something I don’t like I usually always toss the recipe. Not altogether sure I’ve that for all. When I have one I like I try to remember to write good or remix on it. If I forget to write that then I’m not sure because I know I’ve hung on to too many so so mixes.
