My FT order is still on the slow boat. It appears that SM split my order into two, which is probably a good thing. It's not a good idea having a large package go through customs. The first one is finally tracking, still in China though, but the second one isn't.

I bought that big bag of cotton squares from Amazon years ago and it shipped right from Tokyo. They sent some free tea bags also. I gave a bunch of the cotton away and I still have a lot of it left.

Upland Sliver - The Cotton Man

I’ve been using his cottons since 2016.

I usually get 12-16 days on a wick. It's very absorbent cotton. It feels like silk compared to every other cotton I've tried. Other cottons feel like rough sandpaper.

Upland Sliver (pronounced slīver; sly-ver) is unbleached, no pesticides, no dyes or chemicals. It has near zero break-in. There are no off-putting tastes whatsoever.

Butch (Fahey Byrum III) down in Edenton, NC is "The Cotton Man". I've known him since 2016. His farm has been in the cotton business for a very long long time.

Butch is a total riot to talk with via phone. Very friendly and an all around great guy. He loves to chat and freely share what he knows about cotton. The man seriously knows his cotton.

I'm going to buy some.

They take a long time to get started. Yes, that is chicken wire you see. I have beastly cats who would chew anything to the ground. They are jerks.

Peanut butter treat:
Peanut butter-tfa-3.5%
Banana cream-tfa-1.2%
Sweet cream-fw-.5%

Grapefruit mix, an experiment, haven't tried it yet.
Grapefruit-fa-1%
Orange cream-wf-1.5%
Orange creamsicle-cap-1.5%
I tried a similar mix with biscuit and tossed it, I'll see.

42 here in Fabulous Las Vegas. There's a vape shop nearby and I might pay them a visit today - I've been looking for stuff online but it's either get it from China or pay $20 in fees from US companies like EV. I'll see what they have locally.

Well, I can now say my SM order has been in Ca and China on the same day. Currently in China.

I have a theory about that since a couple of mine have shown the same thing. I think whoever it is in CA that receives the shipment from China creates a label in CA. So even though it’s still in China, the tracking shows CA.
