My five mixes are done and my divider is full. I’m going to consider another mix for awhile before I put all my cases away. The reason being is that I have one iffy mix.

Fairly busy with things around here. We have some errands to run this morning. I think we are heading out soon.

Won’t be posting my new mix I got out last night. I like it ok for me but won’t mix it again. Actually I may mix it without the white chocolate.

Why?

Is it because the white chocolate is too sweet? Or something else?

Which white chocolate? FLV, TPA, FW, VTA, WF?

The boss is still gone so I talked to the guy in charge and he said to go home and check it so I did. The fridge side seems fine but the freezer side isn't cool enough. I took my snus out of my mini nic freezer and put most of the meat in there and plugged in my daughter's old dorm fridge that has a freezer in the top and put some stuff in there. That'll have to be good enough for now. There's no way I'm going to go pick a new fridge without my wife. I know I'd pick the exact one she doesn't want. She won't be back until late tonight. Maybe tomorrow we can look for something.

Good call. Some folks can be rather particular (fussy) with appliances.

For me an appliance is perfect if it does what it's supposed to, the very basics, with nothing fancy added on.

To expand on that there is something in the recipe that doesn’t belong there. I’ve mixed with all the ingredients recently except Love. Haven’t mixed with that in ages and it sure doesn’t suit this recipe well.

@hittman Would your wife be willing to go out and look for a frig she likes tomorrow? It would cut down the time you’d spend after work looking.

Late last night I went to get something out of the freezer and noticed it didn't feel cold enough. The frozen fruit was not very frozen and checked the ice cream and it was pretty soft. I think our fridge is going out. It's 11 years old now. I had it repaired a year or so ago but can't see spending more money on getting it repaired when it's that old. Not great timing to spend the money after just buying my wife's expensive airfare to go support her friend. It is what it is. I read online to unplug it for 30 minutes then plug it back in to reset it. I did that this morning so I will see if there's any improvement when I get home tonight.

I think I overdid myself. I still have 8 recipes. 3 or 4 have a new flavor I think. I have a couple I keep looking at like something’s missing. I need to look them over good and make any changes that might be needed. Thinking at least one needs a bit more fruit. Considering mixing a couple tomorrow so I need to do this now.

I'm not sure if she would tomorrow or not. She gets back in town really late tonight and will probably need some time to recover. It would be nice if she would just pick one though but doubt she will.

I added a flavor to one recipe and considering the same change to a couple others. In any case I have 2 cake recipes I’m happy with if I decide to mix tomorrow.
