I'm still up, watching the John Wayne movie Rio Bravo, a favorite. It also has Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson singing "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" which is a classic.
Good morning. Only plan so far is to survive the day. My wife finally got our taxes done and we’re getting a small refund from federal but have to pay state. We’re getting to the point where when the youngest finishes school that we will need to make some changes so we don’t have to pay at the end of the year. Taxes are confusing. I pay in plenty all year with zero deductions but can still owe at the end of the year.

More winter weather here, although they still think we might break 50 on Sunday. So, well, not as cool a rain... barely.
But most of the hail and snow did melt off yesterday, and only down to 34 overnight, so, uh, improving??
Probably a cat hair in my juice....

Weather says 67 for the day. Right now it’s 47 and the sun beating in one window has caused me to open the other window to cool it off a bit.
We had a little rain in our forecast for later today but that’s gone now. Another chance tomorrow for a little. At this point we need quite a bit of rain.There was no snow melt to speak of.
Sheesh.
Woke up sick last Saturday and have been off work all week.
Fever, sore throat, cough...the works. Just flat miserable.
Wednesday night fever jumped to 102.4 and I'm like what the heck ? this really should be going away - not getting worse !
Sooo...dug out the Covid test kits - Negative. (didn't really think it was Covid anyway)
I guess it was a last hurrah as the fever started going down Thursday.
I feel pretty human today.

I'm preparing the living room ceiling for painting, it's my Easter project. Right now there is a vape break.
The Greeks package is in Germany.
Steampipes canceled my second order. But I have started to see the problem they have, a few months ago I bought a Cabeo on configuration setup, when I place a new order that is also on configuration setup, parts of order one are transferred to order two.
I dislike the stock drip tip look and prefer the Gira drip tip but how long I try to get my own setup is something else lol

Sorry to hear you’ve been so sick but glad you’re feeling better today. Are you really sure it wasen’t Covid? Those home tests can be wrong.

Yup, in Prudhoe Bay, one of the most northerly cities in Alaska, it's currently -6°.
