Legal? Yes. That is my understanding and yes, you sideload the apps that allow you to do that. They are free there are a bunch of them.

Just because the app is free doesn't make it legal to stream paid services without paying for them. As such, we request there be no further discussion of such activities.

Dd, SIL and the young one are headed to NYC tomorrow and coming back Sunday. Have house to myself. Young one wants to see Statue of Liberty. Other stops will include Harry Potter Store and giant Lego place.
I enjoyed my many trips to the NYC. There is so much to do and see there. I always loved sitting, listening and chatting it up with the various street musicians. People watching outside my hotel or in Times Square was fun. So was walking around in Central Park. I always had a blast in the Big Apple.

I'm hoping they have a great time too.

I have 2 KFL's on Provaris. All the rest of my vaping gear is now set up with TC. Last night I converted the last one, a Colossal.

The Colossal seems to be the best TC vape, smoother than the Pico or the Solo. It was a pain to set up though. You set up the temp and watts via the regular menu. Then you go to a different menu with the mod turned off to set the TCR value, where you had to set each digit of the number separately. At that point it gave a really bad super hot vape. I finally realised that the resistance showed as 1.75 ohms. My SS coil should have been around 0.7. The manual is kind of minimalistic but I found yet another menu where there was an option called detect resistance. Went there and pressed an ohms sign. It detected the resistance as 0.72 and I was finally there.

So it only checks the resistance when you tell it to. I know the room temp resistance tends to wander a bit over time so I guess I will need to detect the resistance from time to time. It seems a little odd but it works.

I was never a big fan of the Colossal, it's slippery and I don't like the touch screen. But it's a really good TCR mod.
I have many Colossal's. All are run in TCR mode. Once I set the resistance I don't need to go back and do it again. The only time I do is after a dry burn and new wick. Or when I switch to a different RTA.

I set the TCR to 140 as recommended by Daniel at DJLsb Vapes. He did several TC tests on the Colossal and found their default TCR was not as it should be. Per his testing the TCR value should be 0.00140. He covers all that in his Colossal YouTube review.

There are 5 memory locations for setting a TCR value on a Colossal (M1 - M5). I have M1 setup as 0.00140, M2 0.00130, M3 0.00120 etc. Each provides a slightly different vaping experience with TC.

Once the value is setup I choose TCR mode, M1, set the desired temp and wattage and then vape away.

In my experience the Asmodus Colossal's do TC as well as any of my DNA or Arctic Foxed mods.

I hate the fact that I am having to defend myself. I said no such thing in any of my comments and I am doing nothing illegal. I see Freedom of Speech diminishing everywhere, even on this forum. I will, however, respect your request.

Anyone else here use the full size Brunhilde rta? I just have one and have noticed if I chain vape much at all that it gets very hot. I wonder if it's coil placement or I'm just over using it?
IIRC @charlie1465 has the Big Brunhilde and also the MTL version.

I don't recall which one but Charlie had problems with chain vaping and his wick not being able to keep up. It would start to run dry every so many hits. I'm not sure if he ever got that resolved. @Daniel Forsyth and others offered suggestions.

They didn’t have anything but told me about Vermont Vapor.
I remember Vermont Vapor. Their story, from humble beginnings to the fire in 2010 and then how the Vermont legislature and Attorney General came after them was both sad and maddening. IIRC, they won nearly all of those law suits.

Shortly after they closed up, 28 Feb 2017, they posted their juice recipes and tips for the DIY community.

Their story (quite long but a good read), many recipes and tips are still available via wayback.

    Somewhere between here and there
@hittman How long do these GT coils usually last?

It's hard to tell since I always have so many tanks in rotation. I think the GT Ccell coils .5 ohm seem to last the longest compared to the other resistance ones I have.

Heard loud and clear. No more.

Well, that's cool. Big coil should last awhile.

I should experiment some more then. I set the TCR to 110 because I read that somewhere years ago. That was on M1 so I have 4 more to play around with. I do like a fairly cool MTL vape.

I saved that link so I will check the video out, I do better with written words than verbals though.

Charlie does have Big Bad Brunhilde and the MTL RTA. It was the MTL one that he was having issues with which were resolved:thumb: he never used the dual coil Brunhilde, I think he was too scared:w00t:(don't tell him I said thato_O)

I only ever vape on dual coil Brunhilde with the airflow right down and a nice rdl vape at 27W so I could vape until my heart was content and she always stayed cool:cool:
@hittman Big Bad Brunhilde definitely shouldn't be getting hot at around these wattages. If you have your watts up higher then unfortunately I cannot help.
